Why do everyone keep on having a go at TN he’s a Rovers player wether you like it or not. Because he doesn’t ever score goals...and the assists is part and parcel of being a centre forward because most have a good assist rate along with a reasonable score ratio If you go to a restaurant and you pay for a meal and it’s not cooked your not going to say “don’t worry about that this is my favourite restaurant “ I eat salad so yes I would 😂

I agree with clampdown on this but feel Jac is worth a punt and could become a very good signing so personally I would sacrifice a midfielder or a defender for an additional striker with a good goalscoring record and also remember at the moment we have Payne. By choice my squad of 18 would be Goalkeepers Bonham Hopefully Andre or new young keeper Defenders New RB James Clarke Kilgour New CB Craig Holmes- Dennis Kelly Wingers Rodman New Winger Midfield Upson O Clarke Ogogo Sercombe New creative midfielder
Strikers New striker, Reilly, JCH, Jacubiak, Nicholls, Payne
Of course we may still have Partington, Bennett, Mayonaisee, Matthews and Mensah!!! Not ideal.

Bonham and Jak would be a surprisingly good start to the window for us. No doubt those who don’t want us to sign him are the same ones who were so against Harrison (wonder why that is). I see a lot of similarities between Jak and Ellis, both big and mobile units who with a bit of hard graft could be very useful at this level. Anyone at Oxford away this season would’ve seen the potential he has. An on form JCH and Jak would be promotion chasing strike force imo. Edit - as some have said very young as well. Ellis took time to improve. Also whoever said about the two goals scored ffs man have a look at his goals to minutes ratio vs a certain golden boy Nichols! Jakubiak? Big? He's like 5'8" and hardly 'well framed'.

Bonham would be a great signing and to me a sign of intent from the club , I need to see more of jakubiak as he diddnt feature too much , so I’m undecided at the moment. Agree. Bonham would be brilliant as best keep we have had for some time. Not sure about Jack; sometimes does not see what is around him, lacks pace but most people think he has pace?, doesn’t win enough and keep the ball but link up with JCH may help?

Would you be happy if we got relegated because all 11 players were stealing a living in the position they’re playing in. I don’t like the endless criticism of some players. I quite like Tom, and think he’s a tidy player, and feel some of the criticism is unwarranted. But he’s not cutting the mustard as a striker and we can’t afford monetarily or risk wise to have a striker who plays most games and only scores a goal a season. He played his part in keeping us up and he’s contracted to us so just support him and hope he starts banging them in.Someone says that every season. If he is that good why hasn't he signed for Walsall?

Someone says that every season. If he is that good why hasn't he signed for Walsall? Or Coventry.......👍 One day he's going to sign for one of our rivals, and then come back to the Mem and score a hat-trick against us. If you like a flutter, put a tenner on that tomorrow morning.

I am a fan of Tom, I think his work rate is fantastic and his link up play was very good. However, we have an opportunity here with a new manager with different connections. I would rather he went out and created the team he wants. Time has come to offload him and wish him well. Some you win, some you dont.

Easy to say offload TN but just how easy will it be to offload Payne, Bennett, Mensah and TN plus possibly Matthews and how much will it cost us in wages will we undoubtedly have to pay to get them off the books? GC will have to draw the line somewhere at offloading or most of his wage budget will be spent on players playing for other clubs.

If he could learn how to get his head up and read the game he could be decent. but he hasn’t learned it yet and the oxford game aside he always seems to just put his head down, run in to trouble and hardly ever scores. Not league 1 standard yet. Scored a couple more than Nichols so far but Nichols is a much better player in every other department. I’d be happy to see us keep Nichols and JCH, loan out Reilly to a league 2 club and bring in two loan strikers. Jak wouldn’t be one of them.
