You know when you're having a pillow fight and theres a bit where someone hits the other a bit too hard and then before you know it there are punches being thrown and Offensive everywhere? Aye, or when the pillow fight gets to the point where you just want to win, so you slip a housebrick into the pillowcase..........or is that just me? I prefer pool balls myself :scum: I don’t like the potting shed mind you!

You went through all those years and exams to get a degree and you wasted it by running a shop Na it got me a job and career at one of Bristol's Finest which allowed me to qualify as a Computer Systems Analyst and then into management. Also allowed to see parts of the World i would never had gone to, but i can't tell you where because i've signed the Official secrets Act twice. Running and owning one of the oldest computer retailers in Bristol is just fun and when i've had enough i will jack it in and retire to somewhere warm Somewhere warm ? so it won't be Padstow then

So join after the agm and stand for election the following year, not rocket science,or is that just another excuse It would be pointless joining something that has no vision and with people I have no confidence in, as it stands, its a lame duck. Thats not an excuse, but my opinion, and clearly, one that is shared by many on here. That is no slight on the volunteers whatsoever, they deserve full credit for what they do. But the leadership of them. Lets be clear on that. I think you would find if they (being the SC) put the chairmanship and directorship up for election, with the opportunity for themselves to be reappointed of course, not only would the supporters club gain new members, but you may even find better candidates who could move it forward. And if they were re-elected, perhaps you could say they were the best people for the job. And if they were, that would perhaps also so prove the limted future the SC really has. But im willing to bet that Jim Chapell will be carried out in his coffin before he would have the balls to do that. There you have it folks, deflect attention away from the financial failures in the Company by attacking the sector of BRFC who actually do make a profit and bring real income into the mix. The attack on those who devote hours of their time freely, is quite frankly disgraceful, especially by those who are not prepared to do the same and also by those who are being paid by the Club. Eric Godfrey, who was Chairman of the Supporters Club so many years ago, was invited onto the Board of BRFC to represent the views of supporters when the Supporters paid for the North stand at Eastville. More recently, the Supporters Club paid the Club, as did the President's Club, to have representation in the Boardroom. The Dunfords accepted those donations because they recognised the value of reaching out to the wider support via that representation. Jim Chappell and Ken Masters are representatives of the SC and are voted for by the SC members and therefore deserve full respect by the Football Club. Those representations were effective in the raising of finance for the Football Club via the share scheme and for the purchase of The Memorial Stadium, both which effectively have helped when it was desperately needed. Unfortunately, the current owners and their close associates, have clearly stated that they do not require help, while all the time are happy for supporters to continue to fund aspects of the business of the Football Club. The original question (not a demand) posed by this thread is for the owner to explain to the shareholders, how the club is to progress in view of the fact that the Club is heavily in debt, languishing in the third tier of football and is crying out for modern facilities. In other words 'What is the plan? or 'Is there a plan?I hope we will get some answers rather than a continued concerted attack on the supporters members and their elected representatives.

How many supporters joined the SC committee when BBS was our FD? zero? I'm not sure why KM was suddenly become a target, whilst I've never been a fan of his the fact we're losing £3m a year is hardly down to him not challenging the board. If Wael is challenged all he will say is the debts are being taken care of by DS/the ALQ's, how is anybody ever going to prove that won't be the case long term, ask to see their individual banks account statements for evidence? He hasnt become a target per se and of course it isnt his fault we are losing £3m per year. However Jim Chapple (remember maddog on here), knowall and other supporters club members come on here and proudly exclaim what they do, or in maddog's case make unfounded accusations, and for the large part the volunteers do great things, however the top brass of the SC, in the last 12-18 months, have been working an agenda against the club which is potentially more destructive than anything compared to the good they have done. The volunteers underneath them deserve better leadership, the shareholders better value and the fans a better representation. Remember the text severncider had from Ken Masters asking him to spread a malicous rumour? How is that helpful? All the evidence of the texts can be found on here. Would you say the SC is a modern, dynamic and representive view of BRFC supporters? I would say its anything but. Just look at the website itself, its awful. That from a pure marketing perspective is embarrasing. Go to the BRFCSC website and look at the commitee, its an old boys club. KM is being questioned because he is the one elected to sit on the board to represent the fans. Its not personal, but representative of his position and that comes with the territory. He is a Banned word because of the way he is going about things. I'm not defending the board at all but what is indefensible is if Masters really believes we are in the sh** under the family then the way to go about raising that is not by slagging them off outside the clubhouse where anyone can hear him and not by leaking negative stories about them. If he came out publicly and said we are f**ked because of XYZ then I would have nothing but respect for him and I would stand with him to protect our club.

Again, assuming all that is true, why aren't the SC knocking down the Bristol Post with a story and making this point loud to the entire fanbase.
Can't expect fans to care or give a sh** unless they give the fans something to give a sh** about

But You know the plan don’t you Knowall? You have said for the last 6 months + that there is one. If you know the plan, you know they have one. In which case your asking if there is a plan is irrelevant and the Owners will tell the rest of the fan base when it is signed and sealed. So there is no attempt at deflection, what is it you know about the plan for the future? And name your source too? If you are directly involved, say so. The “attack” on the supporters club is calling them out as you are the ALQs. If they truely represent the fans and are a mouthpiece they will have no qualms in doing so.

I'm a big fan of the notion there are goodies and baddies in this, to me everything to do with the club and supporters club reeks of incompetence. It's almost endearing how utterly sh**e we are from top to bottom.
