Normally I'd say bringing back Bodin would put a couple of thousand on the gate but maybe not this year.
That said, I'd still have him back. Fantastic footballer and it's only injuries that have held back his career.
If he was available and interested in coming back I think it's worth the risk.

Can score with his left, with his right, or with his head plus he can excite the fans. 37 goals and 13 assists in 105 games for The Gas, what's not to like? If only he could keep himself fit, I'm convinced he has the talent and ability for the Championship. The fact he's strong with both feet seals the deal. Genuinely believe he could have played in the prem if it wasn’t for all of his injuries. Class above in this video.

He has been my favourite player to watch in a Gas shirt so I would love to see him come back. Unfortunately I think his wage demands will now be too high (you'd imagine he is on £5k p/w + at Preston) and a few Championship clubs would probably still take a punt on him.

Would be a massive gamble for the Club to bring him back, highly unlikely he could produce the sort of form he showed in his previous stay at the club. UTG

What a player he was for us. He took the absolute p*** out of anyone that stood in his way. Worth the fee on the gate alone just to watch him. Always wanted him to push on with Preston because he does have top level ability and such a shame hes had the injuries he has. Im sure championship clubs will be looking at him so i think hes probably above us now and slightly out of reach, but if you dont ask then you dont get.

A real Wowser that.White shorts SO much smarter.Interesting how Gaffers always played out wide.Remember at Carlisle he was 100% on the wing.Billy Bob scored there and it was our first defeat in Yonks but we could have called it off due to International call ups.Liam Lawrence came on but don't move around much i recall!!!! Good game though we lost 3-2.

He always considered himself a no. 10 even though we played him wide right. The missing striker to partner JCH ? I’d have him back tomorrow.

I am honoured to have seen Billy’s very first appearance in a Rovers shirt (Away to Cirencester on trial in pre season) where he scored a hat trick & looked head ‘n shoulders above anyone else on the pitch. A few of us also travelled to Hartlepool early on in our promotion season, to see him score his first competitive Rovers goal in a 3-0 win.
One of the most gifted modern day players I have seen play for our great club.

So many great goals. what a classy player he was. Including a hat-trick v Coventry from a few years ago. Cov have certainly picked themselves up very quickly since then.

Everyone hails Browner's right foot, but both Billy Bob's feet were equally as important that day
Can only wish him the very best

I remember towards the end of our League Two promotion campaign he was like an adult in a school playground. He tied defenders in knots and always seemed to find the net when he cut in on his left. I can’t think of a better player we’ve had in recent years.

I have been pretty ambivalent about the return of Rovers. Watching that video made the hairs on my neck stand up. My neck ain’t seen a Turkish barber for a while either. Bodin was class for us.

Very few ordinary goals in that montage. Absolute class from the boy, he was brilliant for us. One of those edge of the seat players. If we could get him back that would be another massive coup by the management team.
