I have been away for a few weeks, but I haven't heard any news on Rovers off the field. Do we have a Sponsor this season and if so who?. I think so I spotted this on a flight in Australia as a trial to see customer reaction. Not sure if it's Virgin or the beer that is soon to be announced as the Open Day View AttachmentThat is a decent beer too!

Hopefully not Branson, he is a knob That he may be, like many others he certainly did charitable acts in the past that went unreported.
I am sure he used to pay for the sky sports for the forces in Bosnia; that included the pay per view boxing events.

I heard it might be Dyson or the Fruit Market.

I heard it might be Dyson or the Fruit Market. I don’t believe it will by Dyson. And if you don’t like that news then you’ll just have to suck it up, dust yourself down and go again.

I don’t reckon we had a sponsor lined up and we’ve been desperately begging around to get something

Maybe it’s an issue with macron as I notice Reading also haven’t released their shirt. Just my opinion that we shouldn’t leave the kit release so late, and off past experiences such as last seasons open day it really wouldn’t surprise me if similar happens again.
Tiring when the same posters always quote my sh** looking for confrontation, patronising me in a footy chatroom is all well and good if it makes your summer complete.
Appreciate the work TG has been doing and hopefully next year things might be a lot smoother and quicker as he thankfully attempts to drag us into the 21st century - that pesky Uni graduate thinking he knows how to maximise revenue at our club! 🤬🤬 For me, it read possibly a little patronising when you opened your comment mentioning the fact you’re a marketing student so as to validate your comment. It’s possible to know plenty about marketing and operating a business well without having gone to university at all. Look at Richard Branson! Didn’t even finish secondary school! Personally I don’t think the delays to launching the shirt are great for the professionalism of the club but realistically I don’t think it’ll make much of a difference to sales and I think others have already stated there may be commercial reasons (ie an extra 50k in sponsorship or something - just speculating before someone decided to rip me apart on that) which might balance out with the delays. It’s a bit sh** but it’s not a sack the board, it’s the end of the world situation. It’s a ‘must do better’ and as you say Tom is turning us round but as they say Rome wasn’t built in a day!

I wouldn't be surprised if next year doesn't follow this year and last season with the shirts being released just before the open day, as it seems to be now following a set trend.

Southend unsponsored. So not going to be us Yeah shame, what a boring kit to go plain. But guess it’s always going to be a decision based on ££’s rather than aesthetics, as much as they try to say otherwise 🤷♂️

Is there a rule that a company can only sponsor one club per division?

Doesnt say anyone has missed out just that Southend are the latest to get in on it. Yeah the kit is awful and is just a training top Nike have on their website for £15 but adding the Southend badge somehow makes it worth £30 extra. We have a unique kit so this wouldnt be the case.
