Which player in our current squad do you think is going to shine this season? Well hopefully more than one does or it’s going to be a really sh**e season.

Little if fit, Ollie Clarke if he can control is petulance and stop getting booked so often, Craig if he can remain interested, although Rodman is my pick out of an average group, accepting that we are constantly being told JCH is offski.

TN. Seriously, I think this will be like a new start for him with better support from Little and Leahy. With all the focus on JCH he will be off the radar of opposing managers and defenders much to their chagrin.

Which player in our current squad do you think is going to shine this season? whoever applied the most polish to their bald head! Probably the keeper therefore!

I reckon that this could be the year with Nichols comes good, also I think Kilgour could break through and play regularly.
Surprise player: It’s definitely stupid to judge off one pre-season game, but I was impressed by Smith yesterday, held the ball up well, constant pressure on the opponents backline and was very quick. Didn’t have a shot tho and when running with the ball looked lightweight.

Rodman. I genuinely believe if he stays fit and we get a lot of game time from him, we will have a player to score double figures this season.

Current answers:
Smith Moore Nicholls Davies THD Rodman Craig Kilgour Clarke Leahy
No one has gone with the obvious JCH. And many on here are predicting a bad season...
I think we could do with a little more but I think the squads exciting

I liked the look of Smith yesterday will only get better with game time. Tom Davies looked a brilliant acquisition to the team and looked to build from the back and his distribution was good. I also thought Ed Upson had a great game and saw glimpses of why we bought him to the club. The one disappointment was Liam Sercombe and for me he is a weak link and is struggling to fit in to this team. It maybe he comes good but I think it's time we moved him on.

Jaakola and Ollie Clarke for me.
I can see Clarke stepping up to the captaincy and being more consistent, in Jaakola I think we’ve got a good keeper for this level.

It’s got to be Nichols, well into double figures.

I thought Bennett was one of the better players yesterday. Also very impressed with Alfie Kilgour. The two youngsters on the right looked out of their depth so maybe not ready for the step up for a while.

Interesting comment about Jaakola, I thought he was a bit out of his depth yesterday, rarely came out for anything and distribution generally poor. Bit early to form an opinion to be fair but based on seeing him yesterday and Jordi at Yate I think Jordi looks more likely to be no. 1.
