Personally feel that the last two friendlies have been an opportunity lost to give Deon Moore two full games to show what he can or can't do. I feel that GC does not think he is ready which is very worrying because all our strikers apart from JCH have had plenty of chances and have proved they are not good enough! My other serious question is over the full back. Last night was again a case of too much space allowed out wide for the opposition with Hare looking no better than Partington or James Clarke at actually marking player and stopping crosses coming in.

Where are the goals going to come from? Football is a team sport played with a spherical ball between two teams of eleven players. The game is played on a rectangular field called a pitch with a goal at each end. The object of the game is to score by moving the ball beyond the goal line into the opposing goal. Hope this helps. It will never catch on

Did we play our two first choice Full Backs ?

Where are the goals going to come from? I've just had a deja vu moment. I swear I seen this thread last summer. And the summer before that.
It's a worry for sure!

Where are the goals going to come from? Is this another attempt at trying to create unrest now Mr Poison (Hamer) himself has had his wings clipped? Nice to see you back btw Knowall. I’m still waiting for your meeting date...

I’m still waiting for your meeting date... I hope you're not going to become a board apologist now just because you seemingly have Wael's ear? Still no stadium news or training ground and a budget which has obviously been cut. I think the question is legitimate. The main problem last season was creativity and scoring goals and so far the manager has disappointingly failed to address that, despite all the early talk of "marquee signings, big players, big names." But, as we all know, talk is cheap.

Early days I know but I agree that Hare doesn't seem to offer anything Partington didn't, why do we only seem to get FB's who are happy to let opposition wingers run at them? Also strange he gave the still struggling Reilly a full 90 mins but Moore just a short run out at the end. Surely it wouldn't break the bank to sign another young 6'2"+ CF like virtually every team we play seems to be able to bring on, he doesn't need to be that good but just get on the end of our FB's crosses in the hope Nichols & co can score with the knock downs.

Also JCH was an unknown quantity when he came to us which gave him a freedom he won't have next season as every manager targets him

Where are the goals going to come from? Is it possible that recruitment is being affected by off field events?

But I’ve said my bit on the past and there is no point repeating myself. It appears Knowall only comes on here with “takeover news” citing people and dates that he is part of or when there is something to try and stir up the fan base. Mr Hamer is a fraud and is usually the source of such trouble. He does enjoy a whisper in the ear of a supporters club member, minority shareholder or a known forum poster to achieve his snakey tactics. Just calling it out.

Twice the length from the middle !! This is a tricky one to answer. Is the string moving close to the speed of light or is the frame of reference Minkowski spacetime? (Serious question😉). African or European string?

With respect, if Mr Hamer "is a fraud" as you put it - the ALQ's would be fully aware of this. However, he's still in their employ - perhaps Mr Hamer is more important to the ALQ's at the moment than most people give him credit for.

I would suggest the employment of Martyn Starnes and the removal of Hamer as an executive director tells you all you need to know.

Going back to the football side of things, I think it’s probably more likely that we will now have to move players out before bringing any in.
But trying to move a few duds on that are earning good money is easier said than done. And you can thank the last manager for that. Although some responsibility lies with the owners to agreeing to such contracts, but that’s what happens when you back your manager and things fail.

Where are the goals going to come from? We’ll find that out when the season starts . We might create loads from our full backs or JCH might score another load of scorchers or we might be bottom four in January creating nothing. Or maybe we’ll sign another bodin type wide forward or a creative midfielder. Just got to wait and see. This thread is a typical pre season , Crystal ball , can’t wait to get going thread but its fairly meaningless because the season hasn’t started none of us can predict the future and there’s nearly two more weeks until it all starts.
