Well I’m stapletongas, I’ve always been stapletongas. Ollie doesn’t call me stapletongas any more, in fact he never has because he doesn’t know me.
I’m not important at all.
Fortunately I’ll enjoy the sunshine this weekend because I’m not up myself. 😉👍

So we are on 4 pages and no one has indicated what this so called row was about. Mods ~ can we lock this thread so it sinks into oblivion.... Unless someone of course does actually know what it was about and whether it is of interest to the ordinary not in the know fans or just something for people to pretend to be important and claim to know something we don't know and not going to tell us..... Seems to be a lot of that about recently! If they locked every thread that isn't based on speculation and rumour, there'd be nothing left!

They must have been arguing over names for the new stands.
JH "The Harding Grandstand has a nice ring to it, Ed. Don't you think?"
EW "You can't have a grandstand, John. I've already got the Ware Construction west side, and Wael has baggsied the other side. You can have an end."
JH "An end? An end? I'm not settling for an end. Ok, I'll have the Harding Stadium then."
EW "Sorry, mate. Gone too. It's the Nick Higgs Fruit Bowl."
JH "WTF? You can't say that. You should know better. You wouldn't even have a stadium if not for me!"
EW "Calm down mate. People are listening..."

Ex Weston-Super-Mare Gas if there’s another fiver going! I cannot afford £5 here, there and everywhere. I'm a poor old age pensioner who struggles to pay the new prices of refreshments at The Mem Oh my fucckin heart bleeds for you.

The fruit market saga has more leaks than Hugo's underpants! Doesn’t that make it a Veg market, not a Fruit Market. Really confused now....have we moved before we’ve arrived?

CCTV has been examined and can confirm no prawn sandwiches were hurt in the exchange, but it's now pomagne corks at dawn.
This is how it started:
JH to NH: There's a right Muppet coming up now, wearing clogs...
NH: Ware-in clogs?
EW: Oi, I heard that, you fat goofy twot...

Something and nothing - I do not think so. Firstly, perhaps I should declare my real self. I am Roy Cowell. supporter since 1947, yes, I may not look 76 ( I hope I don't) but I am, a member of the President's Club since the 1960s and Chairman of the PC during the first few years at the Mem. In which I like to think I played a major part in securing the ownership for BRFC. I stand by my pseudonym because I do know a lot about what has happened to BRFC. I class myself as a friend and supporter of the Dunford family, Denis, Geoff, Sharon and Peter. All of whom, have my greatest respect. I am also a friend and supporter of both of the giants who locked horns, Edward Ware and John Harding who are the subject of this thread. For those who do not know Edward, has been a fantastic supporter, Director, and backer of BRFC since he first became a President's Club member when really just a boy (a long time ago). John Harding has been a major supporter and wise head and confident of Denis and Geoff and Vernon Stokes during the important years when the Football Club re-located from Eastville to Bath and back to Bristol over many years of BRFC history. Why should such giants of BRFC history be involved in such angst? well to me. it is obvious. It takes years to understand the heartbeat of a football Club, and Ed and John are passionate people at the sharp end of our Club, who are currently frustrated because the future of the Club is in the hands of those who do not know the history and maybe do not even care? When this Club becomes the property once again, of those who care for all the right reasons, we will 'have our Club back' I am confident that will be soon. Massive ego alert.

Roy you obviously know quite a bit can I ask please do you anticipate us moving to a new ground? As we will not survive at the mem. Roy. your penultimate sentence is very interesting. It seems to suggest the club is to be acquired by people with Bristol Rovers in their DNA, as opposed to Middle Easter bankers who know very little, if anything, about Bristol, Bristolians and Bristol Rovers. Can you confirm this or give a subtle hint?
