I know this is a pie in the sky kinda question,(but its my day off work and I was sat on the toilet when this came to me 😂) but say our board said that they want our supporters to help fund a new stadium by donating X amount each month for X amount of years, or by paying a larger one off payment to the club.
For example say we had a site, the cost of it was £50 million to build everything, and the board had half the funds but asked us supporters to raise the other half how much could you pay?
What would you be willing to pay given your own current financial situation today?
Im not talking about bucket collections here,or the raise the roof thing from years ago.But a real financial commitment by a signed contract with the club, or direct debt over a number of years.
If I could guarantee that we could be in a brand new stadium within 5 years I would be willing to pay £200/£300 each month myself.
You?

We'd only need 10,000 to donate £500 a piece to make £50,000,000. Doing a bit of maths, that's £20.83 a month over 2 years per person.
LPGas started a thread about getting a refund for one match off his Season Ticket.
Literally no chance.
Edit: I need a holiday, and a nap, and some maths lessons.

Depends whether you get any return, that's what investment means. Otherwise I would buy a brick for say £50. The other day whilst buying my Euro millions ticket, my mate said that if I won a £100 million that I would put some in to rovers. Truth is I don't think I would. There are many causes, much more important that Rovers, and if I was to invest in Football it would be in a new ground for Frome, one that would last them a good 20 odd years and one where they had, a café, restaurant, bar and whatever so that they could survive. I think you can make a huge difference to a small club rather than watch a big club water it against the wall

Its like the railway, you buy a ticket to Paddington you might expect a seat, but the ticket doesn't guarantee one. However if the train stopped at Slough they you would want some money back because you haven't completed the journey, or in our case the season.

I know of those fans many couldnt pay anything, but at a guess I would say there are between 20- 25k Gasheads in the world. What I mean people that if asked who they support they would say Rovers. They may not be able to go to games all the time due to family, work, health, location etc.. Just asking if this was ever asked how much if you could, would you be willing to pay.

I just don’t get this thread? The Al Quidi’s have told us that finance is not a problem, what’s wrong with everyone?
