www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49634696Quite surprised to see this. Only 6 places apart in the football pyramid currently and I don't see Huddersfield as a massively enticing club. Could be good timing for us though as I doubt it gives much time for Lincoln to appoint a manager before we play them on Saturday.

As well as being premier league capable which is where they got promoted 2 years ago.
Massive step up.

Wow! Good move for them and one they have to take while they can (ask DC) but Lincoln can't be happy!

We couldn't beat a team with 10 men so I'm terrified of what we won't achieve against a team with no manager!

Than Lincoln yes. I just thought they could have waited and got a move to a bigger Championship club. Huddersfield have won one league game this year, will take some turning around. Sort of reminds me of Nathan Jones leaving Luton for Stoke.

Sort of reminds me of Nathan Jones leaving Luton for Stoke. It’s probably the best championship club bar Fulham and Cardiff. Stable owners and a whole load of cash to spend thanks to their parachute payments which means they have a right good chance of success. Mich better than somewhere like Leeds or Forest for example.

If they had had the chance the best move for them would have been Sheffield Wednesday.

Great move to a very good club I think. Chance to turn it around. Hopefully we can catch Lincoln on the back of a bad week along with their 3-1 loss Saturday

I'd like to see them do well at Huddersfield and get another move to an even bigger club at some point. They seem like decent blokes and clearly very talented and motivated individuals. The fact that Danny Cowley was previously a PE teacher when managing Concorde Rangers makes for a great story if he ever gets the opportunity to manage in the Prem.
Good for us that we don't have to face Lincoln under them, but no doubt it'll still be very tough as they've got great players.

Really? They are a consistent championship club with a great stadium and pedigree, and a recent trip to the Premier Lge. Have nothing against Lincoln but they are at the top of their tree. It's great when clubs like Luton and Lincoln finally get their lives in order and going flying up, but it will very very rarely last. And now I have to mention money. The difference is literally out if this works. Linc have done great on the pitch but that won't have hardly made a dent in the salary and resource comparison between the two clubs.

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49634696Quite surprised to see this. Only 6 places apart in the football pyramid currently and I don't see Huddersfield as a massively enticing club. Could be good timing for us though as I doubt it gives much time for Lincoln to appoint a manager before we play them on Saturday. But he's nearly upped his wage x 10. A bit of a no brainer. I bet DC is regretting sticking with us despite what he may say.

Sort of reminds me of Nathan Jones leaving Luton for Stoke. You never know when your will get another chance. DC was highly rated and turned Leeds. He probably thought there would be more opportunities in the future. Footballs a funny game, if Lincoln started losing more regularly, would clubs still come in for him?? Think it's a good move for them personally, if they give them time.

The Championship is no joke - I would say Nathan Jones had a better chance of success than DC at Leeds (based on style of football and Stoke being a more accommodating club) and yet he's on borrowed time. Would have been a nice pay day for him for sure but in terms of his reputation I don't think he missed out there much.

Completely agree with this post, unfortunately I think DC would have been gone within 3/4 months.
