His record really is astonishing to be fair. Not many people could boast the amount of promotions and silverware that he has achieved so far in his career. He just needs to keep the momentum going because one bad job and it could all go downhill. Seen it with so many other managers. Absolutely. In some respects I think he might have been better off taking over a 'big' League One club (assuming opportunity arose) such as Sunderland, and taking them forward with momentum built in the process. Doesn't feel like Huddersfield is a particularly great move but if he's been promised time and investment which materialises, perhaps. Think he would get more time at a club like Huddersfield to instill his ethos

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49634696Quite surprised to see this. Only 6 places apart in the football pyramid currently and I don't see Huddersfield as a massively enticing club. Could be good timing for us though as I doubt it gives much time for Lincoln to appoint a manager before we play them on Saturday. But he's nearly upped his wage x 10. A bit of a no brainer. I bet DC is regretting sticking with us despite what he may say. You mean that he would have lasted 3 months at Leeds? Personally I don't think he was even offered the job

Yeah went there for an interview then signed for us. We were over the moon at the time because the general feeling was that he’d turned down Leeds UTD to stay with us. Wasn’t necessarily offered the job though.

Wasn’t necessarily offered the job though. DC’s profile was never really big enough for Leeds. That being said they did sign that Hockley character around that time when they were really at a low ebb so it’s not inconceivable that DC may genuinely have been in the running there.
