At this point all we have to do is stay in the hunt, consolidate our mid table position and maintain our home form. We won't win every game, we don't have a good enough squad for that but we can pick up points at a decent rate to take us into January where a couple of astute additions and the reintroduction of THD could propel us on to greater things.
Ultimately nothing is decided in September but it is certainly encouraging to see us get off to a better start, our home record improve and JCH continue his good form. Plenty of reasons to remain optimistic in my view.

Apart from the big spending top 3 teams - Sunderland, Ipswich, Peterborough I'm not too concerned about the others in and around the top half of the league and I expect us to be around or just outside the play off zone all season.
If we continue at this rate then January could prove to be a very important month to us and will test the boards true ambitions for this club!.
Single ticket please driver, Next stop Wembley!! UTG!

After last night’s incident where the wheels nearly fell off, the bus has today visited the garage for a full service. It hopes to be running normally by Saturday, although it may not be firing on all cylinders.

Hard not to bump this tonight. Am impressive win. Only six points off the top place now. At last, we might be able to aim high. The seats are a lot more comfortable than they have been for many years.

I’ve been asked to keep all the ground breaking stuff in one area.

Well it appears that Graham the conductor (GC) is directing the Waels on the bus in the right direction, hopefully he can direct the number 1 to Wembley, even better over shoot his destination and go into automatic with a top two finish. Although I would be happy with a Wembley ticket.

It's just a bit of harmless fun and it also introduces some positivity. With all the lack of action from the owners, the rising debts, and the endless speculation about a takeover, it's astonishing that we are so close to the playoffs to even be able to discuss it.

Yes Rich! Saw the title and knew what this was about! I'll have a ticket to the top ten to start with! Also depends who's organising the bus 🙈 A nice steady journey to the top 10! I'm on the bus for the Play Off places - first league appearance at the Mem next week v Rotherham.

If we ended up champions of this league - it would be pretty ground breaking. Right now very few of us think we could be champions. Quite a few would settle for play offs and would have done at start of season. A couple more victories and we might be in touching distance of what seemed highly unlikely a few months back. Budge up - there might be a rush for seats. It is time to ride again - for one more time.
