Without doubt an individual who is thieving a wage and is incapable of DOING any of the things ANY Sunday league player is capable of doing. He is simply sh** and should be dropped as every touch he makes, normally poorly, sees him slaughtered. I have no sympathy for him whatsoever and GC is making a huge sacrifice by playing him. Crowd seem very supportive of him tonight, sure that had given him a lot of confidence... I thought the applause was for him being subbed off

Well, out wonderours Tom didn't exactly make me eat my words last night, did he?
From that awful early miss where he couldn't even score into an open goal with no keeper there he got progressively worse. He did nothing with the ball, was out paced and out muscled by his marker who had the easiest game he will have all season. The whole team were water poor to be honest, but he was exceptionally bad.
Looking forward to Henbury and the other apologist who isn't going to comment on my posts anymore trying to defend that pile of crap.
The horrible thing is, you just know the little sh** bag waste of space will start again on Saturday. We might as well just play with 10 men.
F@cking awful.

Problem is, it didn't get any better after he went off.

Your talking about him as if he has committed horrible offences. He is just a football player that hasn't been very good. You are right suggesting he shouldn't start the next game.

Must be better for all parties to terminate his contract. He can’t be enjoying playing out of his depth and taking stick week in week out. If deon Moore can’t get a game at the moment he will never get a game. In my opinion and I’ve not seen much of deon Moore but surely he could do no worse

I don't get the continued hounding of one player, what good is actually doing the club your all supposed to support?

Worrying part is he wasn't even our worst player last night! Clarke Kelly and Upson all had howlers.
Smith did nothing when he came on either.
Terrible day at the office. Only Afeboyejo and Rodman came out of that with any credit for me.

Tbf I wouldn't say the majority abuse him, just shout "get him off" when he attempts to make a 5 yard pass and fails or attempts a shot/cross and it goes into the stands which I would say as paying fans we are within our right to voice our opinion. If you're a chef and you undercook someone's chicken you should expect complaints, if you work in a shop and you throw the customers shopping at them you should expect some complaints, if I get knicked and my solicitor turns up to court and says "to be honest mate I've not even looked at the case" he would expect some complaints. Nichols is paid, better than most other jobs, to be a footballer and if he can't do the basics and doesn't do his job properly he deserves the criticism.

I was cheering, he was awful last night, not alone of course, keeper and Victor aside. Shouldn't have had the hook at HT. in fact it should have been 3 changes at HT, but GC doesn't have a clue.

Otoh, if you think to yourself, if I put my crappy solicitor in a decent mood and support him he will be able to contribute to my defence and I'll get a suspended sentence. If I call him a dick his effort will be worse and I'll go down for five years. I suppose while you spend your five years in jail you'll be able to tell yourself, 'but I had every right to call him a dick and he deserved it.' But it won't make the time go faster.

There's a big difference between criticism and out and out abuse though wouldn't you agree? Some of the nasty personal abuse aimed at him on here is totally unnecessary. You managed to use analogies in your post to make your point without resorting to any personal stuff...

It's not really vile abuse - it's actually quite mild considering how the players (and Nicholls in particular) let the club down last night. We know Nicholls can play a bit, but to sink to such a low is extremely frustrating. And we are The Gas. We are passionate. It's not so much vile abuse (that's what the BS3 trash do), it's about feeling betrayed and let down.

I thought the applause was for him being subbed off It definitely was. Not from me and those around me it wasn’t. There are some dickheads on the East Terrace who abuse TN and can’t wait to latch onto any mistake. Once he inevitably leaves I hope he finds a club with better fans and proves everyone wrong. It puzzles me why someone like Matt Harrold gets hero status but was pretty useless and others get scapegoated. Listening to some of the sh**e being spouted by so called fans last night makes a bad game even less enjoyable and I’m seriously thinking about scaling back my attendance at matches. Perhaps I need to wear ear defenders!

Cogs threw Nichols under the bus last night, there was no way he should have started given the reports of his performance at Doncaster. The crowd were waiting for his first mistake; and it was a howler.

And i dont know what City have to do with this.

I'm fairly sure if I'd hired that solicitor 60 or 70 times and he was never any good I'd probably just get the duty solicitor in and stop employing him.

No, you spent 300 grand to employ him on retainer for three years, and you're £12M in debt. And the duty solicitor is called Andy Bond.
