Just had virtually an instant reply from TG. He says at the present time they have only sold two hundred tickets for the tie. He has been in discussion with the powers that be about it, but until ticket sales pick up things stand as they are. Perhaps sales would pick up if all parts of the ground are available? I won't be buying one as things stand at present.
Its pay on the day isn't it?
No mention of that on the OS.

You have to suspect that the West Enclosure will be sold in the January window. Being transferred to Field moor or its fancy new name.

Just emailed MR G. Not expecting a reply but, at least I have tried to get a concern registered. My first written complaint since I watched my first game in 1967....... To be fair to TG...I have found he does communicate back when emailed etc on a subject. Might not like the answer....but that’s a different matter!😜

Completely out of touch with the fans on this. Well if anyone else's online ticket account is anything like mine, there are no tickets available to buy. Only have bought 3 season tickets this year, but can't buy 1 poxy ticket for an FA Cup tie. Go figure.
Season Ticket holders in the areas that aren't open for the fixture (South Stand, South-West Stand, West Terrace, North-West Terrace) will be able to purchase tickets from 9am on Thursday 19th December, before tickets go on general sale from 9am on Friday, 20th December. The above (ie...the bit about being able to buy from 9am this morning) from the website didn’t happen as far as I can see. Maybe that is why they ain’t sold many tickets yet!

Just hearing that Mansfield have put in an offer for the West enclosure....... The People’s Republic of West Enclosure are, it seems, talking to their families as they have a big decision to make. They think they have taken it as far as they can.

The thing about trying new parts of the ground that's a bit daft is that most people pay extra to go in the west enclosure because they've already tried other parts of the ground....

Exactly what I told TG in my email. Sadly it appears its not up to him. He says the stadium manager, whoever that is and the head of ticketing have decided what areas are open.
