Have we ever lost a Manger when in such a good position? A great opportunity for whoever takes over! As an aside I would be really interested as to when we were last 4th in this division? Looking at the form tables it's clear where we are strong. We need a big positive support against Peterborough on Saturday in this 6 pointer! Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Interesting thing for me is on the last 10 games we have conceded more than any in the top 8, yet only 2 teams have scored more. So are you saying we are strong in front of goal? We seem to be set up defensively but our back 3 & keeper have been immense, especially against Ipswich & ‘muff. I think if we had someone in midfield holding the ball and with some creativity, it would help take some pressure off the defence.

Peterborough Mixed form away Peterborough best attack in the league. In my view Rovers have the most in-form defence in the league. This makes Saturday's game even for me! 3rd vs 4th also say's even! It could also be quite entertaining on Saturday!

Probably the toughest test our defence will face this season. Their attacking talents are ridiculous.
Ivan Tony top scorer in the league on 14 Next is Mo Eisa on 13 Then Marcus Madison is only on 9
Can't see us keeping a clean sheet on Saturday

Injuries or attitude problem perhaps?

I haven’t looked at the stats but I know we haven’t kept a clean sheet for 9 games in the league (mentioned in the commentary on Saturday) so I would argue that we don’t have the form defence, we are just out scoring it which is not what people would initially think when appraising the strengths of this team. In that sense Peterborough are a bad team for us to play right now.

I’d be happy with a scrappy 1-0, but I think there will be goals.

Unbeaten in 11 games also, perfect time to go up against the might of Peterborough on our patch. This is a chance to potentially be second in the League on Christmas Day. Feel free to just read that back a few more times if you wish.

Posh's record at Home Peterborough 10 7 2 1 25 9 +16 23 Mightily impressive !
and their away record. Peterborough 10 3 3 4 18 16 +2 12 nowhere near as good.
I think the players will be well-pumped for this game but it would be so much more positive for us if we have some more players back - Ogogo and JCH of course - these two always give us fans a lift !

This is our home record. Bristol Rovers 10 5 4 1 17 11 +6 19 very solid. bring on the Posh !
and our away Bristol Rovers 9 5 0 4 12 14 -2 15 . We have won 5 of our last 6 away and are now 4th in the form table !

They won’t be so wasteful, one would imagine.

Hopefully whoever takes over can keep it going.

Injuries or attitude problem perhaps? Saw a Peterborough V Chelsea U21 game a while back and he seemed a right cock considering he was playing against kids so wouldn't surprise me if the attitude problem guess isn't too far wide of the mark. Would definitely think he'd be in the Championship otherwise, especially as I think he had most assists in League One 1 last season? Regularly hits around the 10 league goal mark also so you would think there's an array of scouts monitoring him.
