I would give reilly a go for a few games alongside JCH i thought the few rare times we managed to get the ball to him he done well and could see him linking up quite well. Reilly looked a lot sharper then Barrett, imv.

As I said earlier in this thread
Assuming nobody stumps the cash up for JCH I think we’ve seen the last of Nichols,Victor and Tyler
Our strike force will be
JCH Reilly New loan New loan
Not overly against this either, Nichols may we’ll be a better all round footballer than Reilly but value for money wise he isn’t and when it’s as tight as it is due to previous bad spending it’s something you have to take into account.

How many loans are we allowed in one season?

No answer to my question again. Why is it when people try to engage you in sensible debate on this you ignore it? Reilly is not on a great deal in terms of wages compared to Nichols so it's a better choice of player to leave when it comes down to freeing up wages but I did forget we even had Reilly until he was recalled back last week from Cheltenham. Nichols is probably the best player on the ball at the club but not a striker. Anyway it's all a mess so god knows what's going to happen now

I don't disagree with this. I don't know how much Reilly is on but if he is on a lot less than Nichols then I get that argument, I am all about value for money.

I know you want me to snap and call you a Special lady garden or something stupid but we're better just leaving it there.

The most typically Rovers thing about our current situation is that not only can we not move Bennett, Nichols, Mensah and Reilly on, who basically offer no goals or end product between them and occupy a hefty slice of our wage bill, but we also may be missing the boat regarding selling JCH for a wedge. There may be f**k all Garner can do until the summer in regards to reshaping the squad.

He can finish well but he hasn't got the link play of someone like Lambert as a comparison.

After the Nichols rumours in the Bristol Post earlier in the week, and Reilly's return from loan, makes me wonder if Garner made his decision on their fates when he made that substitution, both of them could very well of gone into the game not knowing their futures at the club, and that substitution to me appears to have been a rather clear message.
However I might be reading too much into it, there wasn't much else excitement to think about during the game!

I know you want me to snap and call you a Special lady garden or something stupid but we're better just leaving it there. What the hell are you on about? I'm talking about football and you're desperate to try and make it personal. Why can't you just talk about the squad without having to pretend that I've got some personal problem with the player and, by some weird association you've imagined, you. You keep going on about Nichols being the best thing since sliced bread and are prepared to write off Reilly instantly but for some reason you don't want to offer any rationale behind it. As is the usual method of grown up conversation.

Reilly improved things slightly yesterday but isn't the answer. I still expect him to move on before the end of the month, heading back north of the border.
