Given that he did not make an appearance yesterday I would think that he too has been told to go. Now Reilly really does have 6 months to go on his contract, and personally if there is no sign of us signing a goalscorer in the next week or two then I would keep him on, and to a lesser extent TN. As we saw on Wednesday night NO shots on target.

I think we could have got more out of Reilly. Ok, it was pre-season, and, OK, it was Yate Town, but the clinical way he took that hat-trick in no time at all showed signs of a natural goal scorer.

I expect Smith to be replaced by Reilly as the partner to one of the two big lads.

We can't loan him out after playing him but can play him if we leave him out, so leaves our options open. 2) TN is much better than Reilly.

I think Garner will be looking at him in training before making a decision. I don't expect him to play for us or go anywhere else until the end of the month.

Hopefully JCH and not Nichols, let Barrett play a supporting role. But for me it's more important to see what formation Garner opts for.

I sense Barrett is being lined up to be our new No 10 as he played a similar role last night to what TN/KB played on Sunday. As far as Reilly's contract given we signed him from Scotland then did he really move this far south with his wife and new bady for just a 1 year contract?

Reilly bought a house in Thornbury so clearly wanted to settle here. He'll do well to end up much better than Gloucester City lol.

That's called BONKERS I feel like BG has more likely told him he won't be getting a new contract (certainly not on his current wage) and he's open to search for a move sooner (in hope that we reduce our wage bill/can use the money to sign someone else). That doesn't mean he wouldn't still play him and nor should it - as GGMI says, he's our best forward behind JCH... by some distance IMO.

I look at a team as a collective, not individually. Yes, he doesn't score enough goals but he has contributed in other ways and helping us get to as high as 4th in the league when GC left.
