So 54 in favour, 59 undecided, 53 against. Reminds me of a song.....Stealers Wael - Stuck in the middle Can’t understand how so many can still be undecided (Sitting on the (fence) Dock of the Bay) after nearly four years. Maybe because there are pro's and con's from their time at the club. Also so many missing pieces of information about the UWE etc. The other problem for me is what is the alternative to these owners in the real world?

If Wael and the family go, who do people expect them to be replaced by? What sort of club do those that want them out want?

Stick or twist this forum has made me indecisive, who knows no more itk ers to assist 😂 Oh, but there are yet they are above recourse as we have people here who are close to WAQ and you will see the same people, dive into any post that they then label as anti Al Qadi. There is a big difference in asking pertinent question and caring about this club to then be called anti AQ and because of our natural instinct to ask questions. You can be pro Rovers but not anti owners. Fine lines my friend I just think it’s a great shame that many posts then degenerate into personal attacks and abuse.

Amazed at the amount of yes votes - wow! Can somebody tell me why they think they are doing such a good job in charge? Prhaps that's G1981 and Daniel with 40 different log on desperately voting "yes"? If not I guess that explains why as a club we've never progressed as fans are just happy with the status quo. One problem with the poll are the other 3 questions are really no's so spliting the voting, there should really by a simply yes or no answer to get a true reflection of what posters think about Wael, although it should really be the ALQ's anyway. You really have no grasp on how little time I have in my life to be bothered with something like that.

I’ve considered this all day and had to go with no probably on reflection Since Wael quit the Jordanian fa. I always believed Wael had to make a success of us to further himself in the footballing world elite, and climb that corrupt (no link intended) fifa rankings. The reason he quit that venture was “to concentrate on Bristol Rovers”. How long ago was that? What has been achieved by “concentrating” so hard. He has no ties to football other than us now. No ego to fill in the football world anymore after his buddy wasn’t elected to be fifa president. Sad times at this club to be having a poll like this. Radio brizzle won’t be cheerful before a balls even kicked Saturday afternoon, that’s for sure. (Didn’t want to say FACT) If this was an elitist attempt at rising through the football world or some kind of popularity contest, then picking Bristol Rovers is surely the wrong club to do it with? Of the clubs for sale at time or clubs looking to invest you had Notts Forest, Barnsley, Leeds all looking for a change of owner with previous prem good times with a much better leg up than us. It just doesn’t compute.

I’ve not seen any posts from anyone accusing people of being anti owners/board of it was a genuine pertinent question based on facts. There’s lots of false accusation and general assumption though and even then it doesn’t amount to anyone saying someone is anti ALQ. Tbh, lots of the stuff on here is no different to when Higgs and co were in charge. Talk of us going nowhere, being tinpot and administration around the corner.

But the big difference is we all knew NH wasn't a wealthy individual and was trying is best, as did the Dunfords before them, we've now got a wealthy family (regardless of waht there true wealth is) who clearly have no interest in spending it on the club, plus instread of having a couple of £m debts it's now £10m+. Anyway where do you see us in 1 year/5 years if we're still 93% owned by the ALQ's, next year I can only see us as a mid table Div 1 side at best playing at Mem, I haven't a clue about 5 years time, probably admin or ground sharing and wondering about our future, assuming I haven't given up as my electric car won't get me as far Swindon or Chletenham to watch us play and so have made the shorter journey to watch FGR in their brand new ground pushing for a Championship place.

I agree, we certainly seem to have returned back to those habits.

I have no doubts when I say I’m positive they would not have bid for those other and more successful sides. We were a bargain basket buy and WAQ was really quite pleased with himself in the price paid. I just can’t understand why we saw so much of WAQ in the first year & it looked & felt good,to have him have good communication but now, we see nothing of him. I don’t think there would be a better time for him to make some kind of statement as this could shut many of us up but it’s hard not to feel he is avoiding us

Agree some playground behaviour going on, we all want the Gas to succeed, but I dont know how that will pan out, Geoff D RIP said that renting was not totally a bad deal, however I dont want us to become a Cov, so who knows what's in store for us just hope we are still in existence in 30 years time and not a Bury.

Treat us with contempt and like mushrooms - kept in the dark and fed on sh**.
...And still the majority of fans lap it up. You really couldn't make it up!

Buying a lowly club doesn’t mean that Wael still can’t have machinations on using his position as president to network in the upper echelons at junkets like that annual club owners conference. What was the Coliseum all about? The guy knows as much as I do about building bloody stadiums yet he was using his position as Rovers president to give people a speech about the challenges of getting things built. When you see stuff like that it becomes fairly apparent that he is more than just an honorary president- he enjoys the lifestyle. His shameless carrying down Gloucester Road leaves more of a bitter taste in the mouth with each passing day.

Remember when he said at the beginning he would be here as long as everyone wanted him? That’s been shown up to be more fantasy. The fact that he now sits on a board of just him and his mate Starnes tells me that he’s actually switched to a bunker mentality and will be prised from his role of president kicking and screaming.

I don't like them as owners. They seem befuddled at best or dishonest at worst in their approach to dealing with the fanbase. They seem to have no plan or inclination to move the club forward in any meaningful way. I don't want them to get out ASAP though because we'd go bust and as fun as starting again in the Western League would be I think it would be a shame.

I like Wael, seems a nice man, but the ability to run a football club? Not a chance, out ASAP for me. Cue be careful what you wish for, blah blah blah. GD didn't know at the start. NH certainly didn't know, so your point is?

It seems we are inevitably heading towards the cliff edge at full on pace with the AQ. If that’s correct then get out ASAP is the only answer in my view.People keep saying better the devil you know but we as a viable football club are dead in the water on our current course, so let’s take that last chance,if it still exists that is. Why don't you suggest someone who will be willing to buy us and pump in £70million? Its so so easy to say out. If you just want Out then you can say goodbye to the club
