Isn't releasing all the experienced pros just what Buckle did after our relegation, I can't recall that being a success. As far as next season's playing budget we s concerned, we've no idea what's going to happen on that front, the "we've got no money" is something Gasincider keeps posting but, if anything, our playing budget went up in January when he claimed 4 senior pros were leaving. Although if we do cut the playing budget perhaps we'll survive a bit longer as we can't keep losing £2m/£3m a season w/o becoming the next Bury or Macclesfield etc. Because despite staying at the stadium until the close of the transfer window, the four players they tried to let go received no offers. Our owners thought JCH was worth millions, but despite hawking him around, no one wanted him. I've never thought him being particularly valuable, or indeed any others.

In theory I’d agree but I’d imagine all the well paid pro’s now realise the. ALQ’s have no appetite to pay unsustainable wages so It really wouldn’t matter what Garner says. As the club is £20,000,000 in debt and losing £65,000 a week, even the players can see they’re working for a company that can’t afford them. Like any other employee in that position you have two choices fight for your job or perform in such a way that other employers fancy paying you a similar wage. Or, have a massive sulk and just up your wages until the chop comes. So why would they be sulking? Again, Occam's razor suggests that BG is a poor manager. Not sure why we keep getting all the convoluted theories about player psychology and other factors when everything can be explained quite simply by BG not being very good at his job. Just my experience of the work place over many years. Seen it time and time again when employees don’t think things are going their way and the firm owes them a living. Not sure how the arrival of a new manager can cause the inability to kick a ball accurately or run around showing the effort required.

So you think the arrival of the new manager had nothing to do with the downturn in the playing side of the club? Surely it's part of actual management to stop the players sulking.

In fairness, while I don't condone it, I can see why some of the players aren't putting a proper shift in for Ben. He's told several of them that they're being bombed out at the end of the season because they're paid too much and can't play passing football. He's bombed out Nicholls, who was one of the most popular members of the squad and he's replaced him with somebody who, I'm told, isn't at the required level to play League One. JCH has lost his favored striker partner and is being asked to do more with less. Even the coaching staff don't have his back as they've basically all been given notice that they might and probably won't have jobs next season. It's an absolute farce. You can't make these types of changes at the rate BG wants, it has to be incremental. But BG and the board don't have any patience. They wanted a revolution, and this is the outcome.
