BG says today 'I’m constantly assessing everything here. Not just the players, but the staff. Who will take this his club forward, who’s got the desire to do well, who’s going to buy into what I’m trying to do?' Sounds like it's not just the players who might be struggling with our new managers methods. Must be a bit concerning to be told you are being assessed for 'buy-in' ? And what about the fans who don’t buy in? Are we going to be ‘assessed’ and kicked out too? I hope so because I can’t be doing with this Banned word club a day longer!

Yes, he’s still on Twitter. Fantastic... I’m sure he’ll appreciate the barrage of abuse you’re about to send him.

I’m sure he’ll appreciate the barrage of abuse you’re about to send him. To be frank, I couldn't give a f**k whether he appreciates it or not.

I’m sure he’ll appreciate the barrage of abuse you’re about to send him. It doesn’t have to be abuse, just a polite discourse. I for one would be very interested to hear him talk to the fans rather than one of our Pravda like interviews with in house media or the Bristol post where he has to explain why he is still the man for the job despite what is on paper one of the very worst a managerial record in football league history. He needs to be grilled in a way that the club and the media aren’t. Get him on with Twentyman, Twentyman won’t hold back in asking the really tough questions. I imagine Geoff is as puzzled as we are as to why this man is being allowed to carry on blithely losing game after game with no consequence. The club will never allow that to happen in a million years

There were a lot of things in his interview today such as his reference to improving the footballing infrastructure, that I think Geoff would have picked him up on and grilled him about. I remember when DC would stroll into hospitality before and after games and chat to pretty much every fan he came across. I miss that.

Progressive Ben really is a little bit dangerous, he is showing signs of a Napoleon complex. He will bring the club to it's knees and still think he did a grand job !

Any new manager would be doing that to be fair. Where our novice is getting it wrong is coming out and saying it in a way that can only demotivate everyone involved in the club it seems. If he isn't going to be sacked, or leave of his own accord, BG desperately needs an old head to help and mentor him. True, but is it wise to go public and say that staff are being assessed for 'buy-in' as they infers lack of commitment. Not good man management to talk in those terms. He’s turning into a Mark two Buckle, at least Buckle had actually managed before and won some games.

Have you noticed that when BG walks out towards the dug out he is always on his own. All the other coaches etc walk either in front or behind him. Does that tell us anything?

It would be an absolute miracle,to get Sir Robin Day to interview Ben Garner .Robbo would really put Garner under pressure, explain why he keeps shouting at the players, Aurora Borealis in place of play a long high ball over the top ?

Possibly the most horrendous thing about this train wreck is that BG is not only ruining it for himself he is watering over DC’s legacy. BG isn’t fit to lick DC’s boots.

Is he trying to make me dislike him even more? If Mansell leaves the club because of Garner I'll be f*cking livid. He’s doing a brilliant job of digging a hole. Needs to look in the mirror as to where the fault is. Clearly losing his sh** now. He said after the Shrewsbury game that he'd be taking a long hard look in the mirror..... He also said he too would be fuming if he'd had to pay to watch that game!

Sounds like it's not just the players who might be struggling with our new managers methods. Must be a bit concerning to be told you are being assessed for 'buy-in' ? Mansell has been very lucky to be given a job after ending his playing days. It's time for the club to move on from the non-league personnel. Mansell could go to for example, Torquay or Gloucester, we need to be more ambitious here.
