Ali Durden and Sam Frost are attending so I'll leave to them to summarise later today, assuming they can report anything before the session is published on the OS

Feck it’s busy on here, it could be a good time to sell a few kitchens?

Only 57 participants including 5 from the club and at least 2 local sports reporters, everybody wanted a Fans Forum then hardly anybody is bothered to take the effort to attend one!

Poor turnout really. Oh well. The joining instructions were a bit unclear, but not rocket science.
Wael seems to be developing a bit of a Bristol accent....

Don't have zoom and didn't know you had to register by yesterday, just to watch it. I know it's my fault, so I'm not moaning. Lots of people on Twitter, here and Facebook that want to watch it though. Plus some people are working.

You were too late mate, there was something on twatter saying that the deadline was 4pm yesterday.

Hold it outside working hours if they want more to participate. Given how many people are presently WFH/Furloughed etc I doubt we'd get that many more later on in the day. Anyway zero stadium news just "still working on plans" from Wael.

Yes I read that this morning. Thought it was worth a shot. Thought you would be able to watch it anyway, don't know anything about Zoom.

Well, I feel like one of the factors is that it looked like you needed to want to ask a question to be admitted. I'd have been happy to watch, but I have no desire to ask a question, and if I did, it would be 'How's the stadium progressing?' while, although I want to know, I don't want answered on a public forum if it in any way jeopardises the progress. And also, I imagine 30 other people would ask that question, too. So, it seems pretty reasonable to wait and hear others' synopses of events. Also, I don't think the paticpation reflects the interest, and the point of the thing, I would imagine, is to convey info, not to win an award for headcount. Also, having run zoom meetings, 7 is plenty. 57 is mental. Also, I would think a decent section of the fanbase doesn't know their zoom from their elbow.

Thought you would be able to watch it anyway, don't know anything about Zoom. Odd we had a 4pm cut off when we've only 50 or so fans attending. Finally a decent question, the final one, re the training ground. 2 x pitches, 1 x half pitch, groundsman etc accommodation, clubhouse, the full plans to uploaded to the OS. Only other answer of note was TG suggesting they are working on plans for income at the new stadium, which suggests to me there must have made some good progress on a new stadium being built somewhere. MS closing speech, Championship football is the aim, although no time frame actually given!

There seemed to be a commitment that the Club was sustainable (even in pandemic lockdown) until 2022
However they also reported that there is a suggestion from EFL that the 2020/21 season could commence on 12th September with limited attendances

Problem is everybody seems to have taken that approach and so the questions weren't the best, unless they were filtered out. I can't believe that nobody asked about this summer's transfer activity! I'd say virtually everybody knows how to use zoom looking at the cross selection of my own family and friends who've use it, only the real elderly would struggle. Anyway I thought the meeting was well run, so another well done to the club this summer.
