I meant getting the money off topper by the way, and not the new stadium. 😁

Yeah was just about to say let’s get this back on track. Topper, where’s my money? Told you there wouldn’t be a stadium announcement I never said there would be an announcement, given only 50 Gasheads joined the meeting I sense nobody expected one, we did get an update as expected, just not much of one. Although TG's comments about new income at a new stadium were interesting ones, as I can't see we can work out income streams w/o having some advanced stadium plans. I'm fairly confident we will get some kind of announcement this year, perhaps Knowall will be shown to be right after all when he said October?

So I can’t call myself a carrot cruncher or Wurzel? Might offend myself ffs Real humour is being able to laugh at yourself as long as you don't offend others. when fun is made of others, intentionally or not, indirectly or not, it may be funny for some but not others. I generally do not find it funny when jokes are made by a member of the majority class against a minority? i grew up in the 70s in Bristol when programmes like Love Thy Neighbour, Till Death Do Us Part, etc. were being aired and then faced the results of these types of humour in school and on the streets. It wasn't funny. There are other comedies like Only Fools and Horses that MOST people generally find funny WITHOUT being offended for obvious reasons. A classic interview by Michael Parkinson with Muhammad Ali (after Match of The Day?) touches upon why non-whites may get "touchy" about some English expressions and images in terms of race. The actual interview is unbelievably funny without being offensive? www.facebook.com/enmoreaudio/videos/301544930880398/PS UTG PPS Me, I will always be a Black Arab, irrespective of the RGies; race, religion and gender. Honky.

Brilliant Q&A and communication by Waq and the team; I am really impressed by the recent step change in the way BRFC in general is talking, listening and relating to the fans, long may that continue; o ye, still eating humble pie, from "critic to convert" , "hell ye".

Completely agree. I've long been critical of the club's communication, but lately this has been vastly improved. I'd like to think that I'm never one to criticise without foundation, and I would always rather praise than criticise, and for sure the BoD deserve massive praise for how they've conducted themselves during the last few months. Long may it continue!

I’d guess you’re right that something is on the horizon. Hopefully sooner rather than later, it’s the hope that kills you

So posters who couldn't even be bothered to send an email seeking an invite now want to tell the club how to run a future virtual forum, you couldn't make it up! My betting is the 50 or so fans who did bother to attend the meeting found it very positive for the first meeting of this kind and are looking forward to attending the follow up meeting, today there was no real need for follow up questions as it wasn't that type of meeting/it was a fairly short one given the number of questions asked/answered. Only on gaschat could suggestions about how to get more fans involved and engaged be seen as a negative. Not everyone can make a Friday lunchtime call topper. Like many have said they’d have liked to have been able to have at least watched. At the moment with work I struggle to get a spare minute to even read on here properly at the moment.

Anyone kindly know when the vote is for the supporters club role that was mentioned in the forum ? No idea at the moment. We have to wait for them to confirm the date of the AGM.

Honky. I have to admit I feel the same way, also when I hear people making racial jokes i genuinely feel embarrassed by them. You don't fit into society anymore, you're going to have to change, we don't have to accept it. If you're proud to call yourself a Black Arab that's your call this is an historical name, much like whiteladies Road etc, though I doubt its for historical reasons I would suggest its more that you know it causes a reaction. The very fact that I'm speaking to you about this is giving your opinion more time than it deserves. How did we get to a point where racism should be a point of debate? And this isn't the forum to debate it if it were up for debate.

Have to remember that Wael is 2 hours in front in Jordan. So 1pm here is 3pm there and work stops at 4pm over in the Arab countries for prayers at 5pm. That’s probably why they did it then.
