That miserable tightwad Wael needs to put his hand in his pocket for a change and waive delivery charges. If he was a genuine Gashead he would hand deliver them himself.

Cost of doing business. If we have staff sitting around in the shop all day we don’t charge a lounging, drinking tea and packing your bag and say goodbye fee. Also takes nowhere near 15 mins. Especially when they get into the swing of things and Royal Mail comes to pick everything up. All our staff have been Furloughed, apart from the management it seems only Clare and Kay have been working the a couple of mornings a week. it seems that Kay's done all the orders all summer, I assume she'd normally be working in the shop during the summer so her wages aren't extra to the club this summer anyway. £6 seems a rip off to me and puts me off buying a shirt when I assume the club already makes a tidy profit on each shirt sold, it's not as if they are selling them at cost price so need to make a profit from p&p, £4 an order would still cover all the p&p costs. Kays agent recently negotiated a £4k a week contract on a two year deal Topper. Its tough but thats the market and Cardiffs superstore were sniffing around according to @eflhub. Tough times.

Everything at football clubs is over priced, the food, the drink, the tickets and the kit. You either pay or you dont. Last shirt I bought was 2007. I buy a sausage roll knowing I could by 4 at Tesco for the same price. If you want it and you can afford it, fine. It's your choice

That’s what I mean. You don’t get charged for labour when you buy something in the shop even though that person has to be there x amount of hours in the day so why would that make any difference to online sales costing significantly more in postage than the price to Rovers. I realise now it looks as if it could look like I was being mean about the shop staff, saying they drink tea all day. That’s not what I was getting at more the fact that it’s no different to opening the shop for a day processing a sale online vs offline.

It's your choice Affording it and actually paying it are two different things, I just bejudge paying £6 when I'd normally pay no postage. it would be interesting to know how sales increase when they do the free postage offer, as I bought items when they offered it recently I wouldn't have bought otherwise, in fact why don't they offer half price postage deals as they still wouldn't make a loss.

Bit wrong buying a snood :-) Bought as a mask for shops. Plane travel, home and abroad. Wrong? Not at all - Just a bit girl sounding - I'm sure you look very pretty in it

You can buy a shirt for say £40 and on this the club make £20 profit . Easy profit in the shop 👍 To get the shirt delivered it costs £6 and of this cost the club makes £4.17 So that’s £20 + £4.17 = £24.17 profit
The punter thinks , I don’t mind paying £40 for a shirt but I’m not paying £46 . The club makes no profit as you don’t buy the shirt
I know that I’ve not bought things online from the club because the postage prices were too high. If people think it’s a rip off , it most likely is a rip off and nobody likes to think they’re overpaying Lots of purchases are impulsive , so it doesn’t necessarily mean the item you might of bought online you will buy a few weeks later in the shop . That profit is now lost .
Ps shirts are a rip off anyway 😁

I know this is a little pedantic but I work all week so unable to get to the club shop to purchase the new shirt..6.00 quid postage!! The royal mail sticker on the shirt was £1.83🤔. A little naughty in my view. Is the club shop open these days? I thought all purchases were mail order. I usually buy my lad the H & A kits. I assume that if I order online I will only be charged 1 postage?

Ps shirts are a rip off anyway 😁 That sums it up nicely, I'd have paid £43 for a new shirt, as that feels like I'm only spending £40, add another £6 and it might as well be £50, which seems steep for a shirt I'll probably only wear on match days and around the house/garden. It would be interesting to do a poll on who'd purchase a shirt this summer if they were £45 inc p&p rather than virtually £50. Knowing my luck they'll be another free p&p offer just after they sell out of my size!

Some interesting points raised but I think there is something sneaky about lowering the shirt price and upping the P&P.
£6 to post a shirt is a shocking rip off and the club should be ashamed of themselves.

I would guess that not many of the ones complaining about the postage have ever actually ran a business. This is not a charity, it is not compulsory to buy from the club but if you do so you must pay their costs. I personally think that £6 is pretty reasonable. Yes, football shirts are very expensive and if I want one I will usually wait until the end of the season - nobody is ever going to point at me and yell that I'm not a real fan because I'm wearing last season's shirt!! All businesses are struggling at the moment but we are in the privileged position of supporting a club that is financially sound i.e. knows how to run a business....which they can't do by making a loss in the postage of shirts! Roll on the start of the season when we can get back to talking about important things ...like football!

It can surely take no more time to print a label and stick it in a bag than it would to serve someone in a shop. I simply cannot believe fans are ok with £6 p&p. No wonder we are ripped off by football left, right and centre. We are now being priced out of lower league football too.

I think the off-season is going pretty well if the most we’ve got to complain about is postage and packing.

What we can do as fans ( quite easily) is to compare postage prices to other purchases we make online . £6 is a rip off. Roll on the footy 😃👍

It’s not really fair though is it ? So it’s costs £ 4.17 to Chuck it in a plastic bag ! I’m not one to slag of the club but it really is over priced . Felt a bit gutted when I ordered a Rovers snood thing for £6 and was then charged £6 for delivery. I took it as ok, but the more I think about it, seems a bit wrong. So did I and the postage was a Royal Mail large letter so not even a quid.
