Strange. Thought he'd find a club no problem. Maybe he'll end back up at Peterborough?

We've done the best business so far imo, on paper at least. Fleetwoods signings of Callum Camps and Jordan Rossiter look good too. Fleetwood looked good in 2nd leg of playoff but blew it in 1st leg. Team to watch out for but we usually have the edge over them? Our "problem" tends to be in beating teams at the bottom, e.g. Bolton, MK, Southend, etc.? Hopefully this will change and we will have a much more consistent and predictable results based team? UTG Do we? Our record is quite mixed with them from memory. Now Oxford...

If a lot of clubs are biding their time we will hopefully take advantage. Getting good business done early and the players settled will hopefully see us get off to a fast start and catch those more fancied, but less prepared sides, off guard!

Agreed, but new wage cap also good for clubs like Rovers !?

Jordan Rossiter to Fleetwood is a good signing providing he can get and keep himself fit. Strangely enough of all the names in those lists, Rossiter was the stand out name for me. If he can stay fit then Fleetwood have a seriously good player on their books.

I don’t blame him in taking his time, it’s probably the most important contract of his career. I haven't been following it that closely but reading between the lines. It sounds like he wants to move back home to Durham. The only club close that is deasible is Sunderland (his boyhood club). I'm guessing they haven't come calling for him. I don't even think they have the ownership sorted do they? Plus they probably have to cut the wage budget as it is. McGeady must be on a fair whack.

Zech Medley [Arsenal - Gillingham] Loan
Jacob Mellis [Bolton - Gillingham] Free
6ft 5in CB Medley a decent signing for the Gills.

Getting good business done early and the players settled will hopefully see us get off to a fast start and catch those more fancied, but less prepared sides, off guard! For once it does look as if we’ve taken advantage of the problem. 4 weeks until the start so any signings from now on will probably mean a week /10 days to get their fitness levels up before they start working on the technical stuff in a new team with new teammates. Not long enough I’d say and the short turn around esp after the longest close season in memory may have an effect on injuries esp muscular ones. (i.e. too intensive a training regime after a far longer close season meaning players are less fit than normal.) It’s hard to say but over the past week or so we’ve seen Pulisinic for Chelsea in the Cup Final and Barrett for us on Saturday with achilles/ hamstring problems. Pulisinic has been playing for some time so probably not but Barrett in his first match perhaps it is linked. So I would imagine injuries could play a bigger part and as we’ve more or less completed our squad we may be well placed. For once! 😉 UTG!

Zech Medley [Arsenal - Gillingham] Loan Jacob Mellis [Bolton - Gillingham] Free 6ft 5in CB Medley a decent signing for the Gills. I'd rather have Ehmer. A CB on loan from Arsenal. Say no more. Plus I'd much rather have experience at CB in this league. Clarke-Salter looked a good signing on paper but turned out to be a wet lettuce at this level.

I wouldn’t even want Arsenals first choice CB’s in league one let alone one of their kids.

A proven player at this level and one of the best performing CB's in the division last season.
