Accrington have signed midfielder Tom Allan on a season-long loan from Premier League side Newcastle.
The 20-year-old scored 17 goals for the Magpies' under-23 side last season and made his senior debut against Rochdale in the FA Cup in January.

L2 but Otis Khan now gone to Tranmere. Wonder if he regrets turning down the move here? I think he did us a favour.

Washington is an interesting one. Was banging them in for Posh when he was last in League 1 and was brilliant but his form seems to have massively dipped since. If he can get back his original League 1 form then Charlton could have a really good striker on their hands. I swear they were under some sort of transfer embargo though..?

Me and someone else (forget who) seperately both tipped off the club when Washington was banging in the goals for St Ives Town in the United Counties League.

Charlton r under a transfer embargo but the EFL in there wisdom have allowed them 2 sign these players very odd and strange Maybe the deals were done before the embargo? Chelsea also signed Pulisic and Kovacic despite "technically" being under a transfer embargo. If terms have been agreed before the embargo is in place, then you can still sign players through that loophole.

League Two side Southend United have named Weymouth boss Mark Molesley as their new manager on a three-year deal.
The former Bournemouth and Aldershot midfielder, 39, has taken Weymouth to the National League after two promotions in two seasons.
Molesley had also been the assistant boss of Bournemouth Under-23s since he ended his playing career. Not really connected but not worth another thread.

Pulisic signed before the embargo, but they loaned him back for the rest of the season. Kovavic was already on loan the season before, so they said it was ok, because he was already registered.

Hence why I said maybe terms were agreed with the players Charlton have signed too, I don't know the ins and outs, but there are loop holes.

So it's obvious the terms were agreed. I thought you meant he was signed when they were under the embargo. A lot of people made that mistake, as they thought he was signed in the summer. But he was a Chelsea player the season before, they just loaned him back.
