We could go unbeaten in 6 matches, draw every match, and there's no option of less than 7 pts.. Less than 7 points against the opposition will mean this manager has failed big time. He will need to go. Draws just will not be good enough.

10 to 12 points is hardly a realistic goal lol Against the opposition, it's realistic. I we can't get 10 to 12 points then I have some real concerns about this manager. Pressure is on for sure.

For context, Ben has achieved 16 points in 22 games and the OP is asking if we can get 18 points from the next 6 games... I'm a fan of ground breaking goals. Why not aim high? Looking back tends to give me sore neck and is just depressing. It does, however, give us all perspective. The future belongs to those who learn and improve. We now need to apply this learning and build on Saturdays result. If we get anything from Lincoln then a few more on here will begin to believe that round the corner there is something better.

I think its the hugely wild swing from expectation to despair and back again that really causes a lot of unrest, both on here and then to wider media and eventually to the Club. ... Some of the things said about Players even up to half time on Saturday were awful - Now win a game and people are calling for The Promotion Bus which in truth should be moth balled for a few more seasons at least surely. I can't wait to get the promotion bus out sometime soon. I'm ready and waiting.

One win against a very poor Northampton and it's like Garner is God.

One win against a very poor Northampton and it's like Garner is God. Not from me. I’m very concerned. Let’s see how the next few games pan out. Over to Ben.

I would see 7 points as progress given our recent form. I am looking for steady progress atm if we are still lower mid table after 10 games then that would be acceptable progress imo. Saturday's win was a great lift, but the team is still fragile so I am expecting a few bumps along the road until we achieve some sort of consistency.

One win against a very poor Northampton and it's like Garner is God. Not quite sure how you work that one out? Who has made out that they think he's turned us around? It's predictions of a reasonable points haul against a few average teams in the next few games. Talking of exaggerations, you're exaggerating in your perception of what the rest of us on here are thinking.

Expect three more wins minimum. Any less, he should go.
It’s quite a harsh target. Realistically, we only really need 7 points and based on 2018 we’d be safeish. However, a win against Northampton isn’t enough to begin to convince me we’re turning the corner with Garner. The guy needs to prove he’s capable of winning matches and not just against bottom of the league opposition or in favourable circumstances.

Three wins is surely worth aiming for against the teams in the next six matches. Any less and we must be concerned. To be honest this club should always aim for playoffs. Any less is failure for me. It is time for Ben to show how capable he is.

10 points I think. That should be realistic. It's been 1 win. I'm pro BG but after this win, my feet is still firmly on the ground. This win is of course a step in the right direction but we are still evolving so within these next 6 games, I expect us to take a step backwards. Just need to remain patient.

I’m pretty sure we’ve got enough for a comfortable mid table finish tbh, but 10-12 points is good form, I’ve not seen anything to suggest that’s doable YET.. but maybe this could be that start of something.

The thread asks for a target, not a prediction. As a target I would set 18 points, since IMHO its stupid to target less than a win in any game. As a prediction I would say 8 points is realistic.

This Lincoln victory was absolutely not one of my 3 pointers a few weeks ago. Just Wow. A Winning run is giving this manager time. Happy day today.

I’m upgrading my vote off the back of that performance. With the games going we’ve got coming up, I think there’s a real opportunity to go on a run this month and put a decent amount of points on the board.

So we have won a game and some are beginning to believe. Belief and confidence is built by hard work on the training ground and winning football matches. We wait to see if one victory can be built upon to calm the many who want to win with entertaining exciting football matches. It’s not too late to sim high. It’s time to set a mini target for this manager if he is to keep the confidence some of us feel today. In our next six games there are plenty of winnable games. If we are to be in and around the play offs we would expect to best teams in mid table and below. With this in mind Burton, Shrewsbury, Accrington and Rochdale are targeted winnable games. If we truly believe these targets should our minimum. How many points would you expect in next six games. We need to start aiming high and set targets that lead us to a play off position nothing less. I don’t expect points against Lincoln or Hull. If the manager wants our confidence renewed then 12 points from 18 might give us all hope. We are all watching. I’m not expecting anything ground breaking in terms of points but it’s realistic to expect us to win against mid table and teams below. Anything less and we are sure to be asking questions. Anything more and we might have found the answer. How we play is, if course, also important , but winning is what matters to give us breathing space and time. Over to Ben & team to aim high and surprise. It's a bit odd, I think, posting this sort of pseudo motivational stuff about something over which we can can have zero influence. All this 'on the bus' stuff and 'stretching goals' might just about be tolerable in a corporate environment where you are supposed to buy into group speak and in theory have some influence, but for goodness sake on an Internet forum with a few members it means zilch. As for the bus, there isn't one. It's an invention. 50 posters on the Web aren't going to get us promoted, relegated, captivated or fornicated. Shame about the latter. I used to be where you are but actual peer reviewed science says this stuff literally does make a difference.

I like the optimism! Hoping for a bonus point for 4 tries or more against Hull? Ok, make it 20.

Having watched the Lincoln match on ifollow yesterday I have to say that I was very impressed with the tactical approach we took to the game.
It’s great to see a young team passing the ball around with confidence. A few weeks ago I was very concerned about this manager but right now he has my support as he seeks to create a winning future. He and the team have taken on this six game challenge and have made a start I was not expecting.
Come on, 3 pts vs Lincoln is an impressive start building upon the previous win.
I face this week with more hope and like many want this to be successful. One game at a time but is it to much to ask - winnable games in front of a club that aims for playoffs - Can we now build on this and win all six? No reason not to start aiming high again.

I felt exactly the same but at last I can see some sort of progress. BG has brought himself a lot more time now and hopefully we are finally moving in the right direction. Pressure will be on Saturday as a game we should be expecting to win. UTG!
