Having watched the Lincoln match on ifollow yesterday I have to say that I was very impressed with the tactical approach we took to the game. It’s great to see a young team passing the ball around with confidence. A few weeks ago I was very concerned about this manager but right now he has my support as he seeks to create a winning future. He and the team have taken on this six game challenge and have made a start I was not expecting. Come on, 3 pts vs Lincoln is an impressive start building upon the previous win. I face this week with more hope and like many want this to be successful. One game at a time but is it to much to ask - winnable games in front of a club that aims for playoffs - Can we now build on this and win all six? I think you are aligned with me Rich. I felt exactly the same but at last I can see some sort of progress. BG has brought himself a lot more time now and hopefully we are finally moving in the right direction. Pressure will be on Saturday as a game we should be expecting to win. UTG! GGMI is right - manager has bought himself time and yes, let’s look forward. Agree, Saturday is now a pressure game if we want to maintain this feel good progress. Bristol Rovers fans don’t expect to lose at home against a team second from bottom. Burton and Shrewsbury are games we should target as winnable. By the time we travel to Accrington we could well be in a much better position and moving in right direction. It’s hard not to see this happening. When it does, we will have fans believing we have made some sort of progress and turned the corner. Look at league table and be hopeful.

Why expect a tonking at Lincoln? They have three players on international duty so it gives up every chance. ( I believe one doesn't count as he has not played the requisite games so I'm told) And now their manager is bitching about us. Makes life worth living

I vote 13 points Whoops typo - good spot. 13 pts is part of stretching goal Surely it should be on it’s own as the chart breaking goal!

So going back to this pole which was created after the Northampton win we are 7 points from 9 with the following fixtures to go in the reporting period:
Accrington (A) Hull (H) Rochdale (A)
We are already in the OP's security position and 3 points away from the realistic, 7 points away from Stretch and need 3/3 wins to be Ground Breaking - reckon we can get another 3-5 points from these personally although it will certainly be more of a test.

I think we will get 5 points 2 draws and a win to keep our run going, which would be great! I voted for 14 - 15 points on the original poll so that is still on at the moment 👍.

Two tough games ahead which should give us a good gauge as to how far we have progressed since those early season looses. The last few results have been impressive but I feel we have rode our luck a little and Accrington and Hull maybe our undoing. Two draws would be something we wouldnt have dreamed off a month ago and I believe are achievable if BG tightens up on our defensive frailties and slack interplay which sometimes creep into our play.

Defensive frailties? 2 goals conceded in our last 4 league games looks pretty good to me.

Last night for example with two guilt edged chances squandered by Shrewsbury

C'mon mate we've turned the corner already and are now on the slip road to the motorway !

We haven't won against Stanley in 9 attempts so Garns will have done something special if we get a result Sat.
