I miss the puddle of urine on the floor in the Thatcher ends toilets that normally soaks my socks.😂

It just seems to feel like an eternity from last Saturday Lincoln to the next match vs Burton on Saturday? Also, not many midweek games to kill any boredom.
IPL is the saving grace now and also while waiting for games to kick off midweek.

The feeling of anticipation, when I wake up and remember that it's matchday - throw in a bit of anxiety for me, as I'm never 100% sure that I'll make it out of the house. Meeting up with my crazy matchday friend in Bath, driving to The Mem, listening out for team news on Radio Bristol. The feeling of achievement and excitement as I walk through the gates - I made it! Buying a pasty and hot chocolate, cheery greeting from the steward as we go into the stand. Watching the ground fill up, first chorus of Irene. 90 minutes when nothing else in the world matters. Alex Rodman's arse.

I miss having a couple of pints before the game at the service club with my dad.
Walking to the ground, having natter with passing gasheads you meet over the years.
Standing on the terrace with my pasty.
Also giving the away team some stick as they warm up up and down the pitch is always fun 😋

I live alone and although I work during the week, weekend are usually quite lonely. So I miss the company of my fellow Gasheads. I find posting on Gaschat is a great way to break the solitude. So long as you learn to ignore the few idiots, there is some great banter on here
