I miss the ground breaking bus but hope to give the bus spin in a few games time results permitting.

I miss having a couple of pints before the game at the service club with my dad. Walking to the ground, having natter with passing gasheads you meet over the years. Standing on the terrace with my pasty. Also giving the away team some stick as they warm up up and down the pitch is always fun 😋 Heck it's been so long with out rovers I'd settle for Shaun north's ass! If it meant one last match day

Like most of us,I miss not seeing football mates on match days, people you only usually see at the Mem'. But getting use to listening on the radio now,not the same of course, but better than nothing.

I miss the early starts. Travelling down the motorways to get to Bristol. Parking at the Welly and having a beer there. Talking with away fans there. I miss having a wander round the shop. The food from the supporters club bar. I miss the atmosphere on the terraces and the queue for the bar at half time. I miss telling students why we have a pirate mascot.I miss the twists and turns of a typical Rovers game. I miss the ages it takes to get back to the M5 after the game and the drive home. Tell that to the armchair premiership glory hunters or the inbred politicians who think it is okay to socially distance for a fox hunt but not in a stadium.
