The only issue with using the app on an Android device is you can't cast it to a TV, I've no idea why iFollow won't allow casting from the app when you can from a browser.

But, er, that's exactly what I'm doing. Huawei Android phone, My TV Cast app + Google and a Google Chromecast device fitted to the HDMI port on TV. Works fine. Funny you should say this - it's what an iFollow advisor told me. But it does work. I've no idea about the technicalities, but how can they stop you anyway? I'm allowed to stream onto my phone - I've paid for it. What business is it of theirs is it if I cast it onto a TV screen?

Its just much more technical to cast it trough the app via your phone/tablet. I also think its much harder to do this trough an iPhone/iPad. For most people, its far easier to connect their laptops to the TV. I also think its much harder to Although iFollow is much better to watching through the app and you get far less issues.

I bought a new TV for this season especially so I could screen mirror onto it from an iPad/phone/MacBook without having to have my laptop wired up to the TV. Would be better if they had a TV app that you could log in to like BBC iPlayer. Especially given current demand.

I would like to think it will improve further and we may see some similar apps you can watch directly through your TV. As I've said before, iFollow was originally designed for a lot less viewers from outside of the UK. That's why I guess it would be much harder to have a TV based app when most people were watching in different parts of the world and those who did watch in the UK had to do so through a VPN. If I installed BBC iPlayer on my TV for example, it wouldn't work.

I'm sorry Qatar, and this is an honest question, why does it work pretty well for me? Only problems I've had are those others have experienced. Just lucky? The only thing I can think of is that the TV, though not a Smart one, does have easy YouTube access from our home wifi, though I can't imagine how this affects it.

I would guess its because you are using an Android phone. Without knowing all the technical details I believe it is much harder to do the same trough Apple products, so you wont find many people who can do this.

I've not tried the MY TV Cast app but just hitting "cast screen" on my phone doesn't work as it usually does, I only get the full screen casting for about a second before something then forces it to just show a black screen on my TV apart from the Sky TV app this is the only only app I haven't been able to cast from my phone. The My TV app reviews on Google Play don't make good reading!!

There is no consistency, I actually got a refund for the Accrington match within a few days. I have applied for a refund for the Hull match, as I didn’t receive a code, and just paid before the kick off. Rochdale match was no problem with just paying. Has anybody had a code for the Peterborough match yet, or do we no longer need them?

I have just received an email stating that you don’t need an access code anymore as your ifollow account has been linked to your email address. There is also some info in the email on how to check that the process on the new set up has been successful.

The club have covered this - I've had an email explaining access to streaming is linked to your email address on your ticketing account with the club website. I assume that as I log in it recognises my email address and allows me in.

It's all changed now though hasn't it? Season ticket holder, now I don't get e-mailed a code but just have to log in to ifollow and I'm sorted. I think.

Ref the new process, I can see on my ifollow account that my Season Ticket is listed under Purchased Packages. However, there is no evidence that I am subscribed to the stream for tonight's game vs Posh.
Is any other Season Ticket holder seeing something I am not?

I've done the log in, name top right corner, suggests I'm able to watch it tonight. No confirmation though.

Yeah, it says check to see whether you've been granted access, but you can't really see whether you've been granted access only whether it says you've been granted access, but as the email that tells you to check whether you've been granted access already tells you you have been granted access you're none the wiser, really.
