This ''word'' is a total and utter abomination and has as much to do with the way Bristolians da speak as spaghetti has to do with Japanese cuisine. Smodern me babbs as used by dey young uns. If thess gonna be purdowntic its actual 'Krek Waiter's Peak Bristle'..... Of course, Derek should be advised that it be spelt as it is pronounced viz; Bristawl.....(to have avoided the ensuing confusion for which he is responsible).

Anyone making their way to the seaside to catch WSM V Wimborne today? Get a scouting report on Ryan Jones? Be good to catch some live footy and now with the added bonus of watching a future rovers player too! I'll be there 👍🏻 Pirate how was he yesterday?

Pirate how was he yesterday? Was tough for him coming on for about 25 minutes with Weston performing so poorly. He came on in a left wing position in a 4-2-3-1 and moved across to the right on a couple of occasions. He did look quite lively though compared to the rest, putting in a few crosses and winning a couple of corners.

Wonder if he can be recalled from his loan considering all WSM are currently off cannot be any worst than we have already

A lot of that “bristle” stuff is nonsense. Bristle is indeed pronounced Bristawl. Bristle is how people in rural Norfolk would pronounce it. Cheers me babber I’ve never heard in real life. Cheers drive of course is an absolute hallmark of Bristolian etiquette. Another point of interest. Using a male term for an inanimate object (pass him up here) is very unique in English and pretty much only Bristol. It’s actually unique in most languages, I think one German dialect does it. I once described a 27 year old Londoner as a “kiddie” and he took great offence (the dude looked quite young for his age) and I had to spend an hour recruiting various Bristolians in explaining that “kiddie” could apply to any man below the age of 40, I quite liked the “kiddie” so didn’t want to cause offence.

What's the plan with this fella? Wouldn't be surprised if we loan him back out?

Wouldn’t be surprised to see him in and around the first team squad. Great prospect.

A loan to that level at the right club would be ideal if he was given game time. He did look good at Weston and was basically Man of the Match every time I saw him play.

He looked excellent in the friendly against Melksham - real energy, quality and quick feet… lots of confidence too….. It wouldn’t surprise me to be in and around the 1st team (as I think Luca Hoole will be too)….. a short term loan to the right type of National League side might be beneficial for his development though…. I’m with 1981 in that based on what I’ve seen so far (limited times admittedly) he’s looked decent and I think is a real good prospect
