Glad he found a club but for me he's way better than the National League.

So the link says contract termination the article says loan. Confusing.
Harsh he’s had to drop down to the conference he could hold his own in this League. I guess he has links to Dagenham though

Surprised he dropped down the national league.
Could have gone to any league 2 club IMO.

Instrumental on BRFC staying a league one club. A good honest performer . Surprised it's taken so long for a club to come for him . Though perhaps the current climate along with him probably being on higher wages as a senior player may have contributed to that. Have a great half season at D&R . Definitely should be playing higher up the ladder but it is what it is.

I love players that wear their heart on their sleeve and give it all for the club regardless of their technical ability and Ogogo was exactly that. Part of a Coughlan side that despite not playing great football, worked hard off the ball to grind out results.
Really surprised that he didn’t manage to find a League One/ Two side considering he was part of the Shrewsbury team that reached the playoffs, the year before he joined us too.

Has he gone to a National league side because a transfer wasn't done before the end of the league window, and the national league don't have a window? That would explain the drop..?

That obviously explains the drop but it was known for a long time during the summer that Ogogo was free to find a new club, surprised no team in L1 or L2 fancied him.

On another note you can see how footballers can struggle with depression etc. I believe he was living with his mate JCH when here. Regardless they were good pals. JCH now at Pboro on say 6k a week (pure guess). Whilst Ogogo who has played well and done nothing wrong is fighting to stay in professional football.

I assumed that was the case as well. I think it’s a great bit of business for Dagenham though. Comfortably good enough for League 1 for the right manager in the right system, let alone non league. Given he was one of our better players at the start of last season when we were in the playoff places in the league under GC, I imagine it’ll be a walk in the park for him at that level.

Fair play to him.
I think it just epitomises his attitude that he's prepared to drop down to a club 19th in the National League in order to play games.
He's a far better player than that.

Surprised he dropped down the national league. Could have gone to any league 2 club IMO. In my opinion he was good enough for League 1, in the one and a half seasons he played for us I felt he was our most effective midfield player. I guess we are still paying the majority of his wages. I figure he may have gone because I have not seen him at the Nuffield's gym recently. Incidentally Jonah was at the Nuffield swimming pool today with a member of Rover's staff working his hamstring

Could easily play league 1 football! Guess we’re still paying a large chunk of his wages?

Good luck Abs, and thanks for all your efforts in the quarters.
Way too good for the Conference, but at least he'll be playing regularly now.

Glad he found a club but for me he's way better than the National League. Abu at his best for us over a year ago was good enough for league 1 but he’s 30 now and hasnt played a competitive match for nearly a year. If they offered him a couple of years on a grand or so a week then I don’t blame him for leaving. He’s very professional and not the sort to see out his career in the reserves at a club fair play to him.
