Assuming he is now banned for Tuesday who do you think will come in for him? We don't have another DM so it would not surprise me if BG moved Harries up to DM and brings Kilgour back. Especially playing against a good attacking team. Bringing in Upson is probably the only other choice.

Anyway isn't it just 4 bookings if the 5th was in a Trophy game? If not Liddle then will have to get a run out, as I wouldn't want to change the back 3 for the Posh game.

Yes I think you were right about it being Baldwin. Also if one of those five yellows was the trophy game then I am pretty sure those are separate which means he can still play on Tuesday.

Just the 4 yellows at the moment Ipswich (H) Northampton (H) Shrewsbury (A) Rochdale (A)

It's likely Grant will pick up a ban for yellow cards in the next couple of matches (4 cards in 9 games). So the question of replacement is a valid and timely one.
Unsettling the back 3 to move Harries/Baldwin forward is playing with fire and should be avoided. I don't think Kilgour can step forward into that role either.
So that leaves midfielders to fill that gap. I know nothing about Liddle so can't say much there. Upson can do a job but I doubt he is long term competition for Grant. What about McCormick? I think his energy could be an asset in front of the back line and will continue the harrassment of opposition players that Daly starts at the top. An extra benefit would be room for the inclusion of Nicholson/Oztumer further up the pitch as part of the midfield 3 - which solves a seperate issue.
IMO Grant hasn't played too badly, but unconvincingly. Not being able to see on iFollow what he does off the ball may hamper a lot of fans' opinion of him, including mine. I respect that age is a factor and he may be a different prospect after a full season of League 1 football. So, his upcoming ban is an opportunity to try something different without dropping an ever present young player though and I'm interested to see the alternative and what the competition is for that position.

Clearly the standard of football in L1 is higher than L2. A standout player in L2 won't necessarily have the same impact in L1. Nonetheless, I think many on here are a little underwhelmed with Grant to date.

Nonetheless, I think many on here are a little underwhelmed with Grant to date. Nichols 4 goals and 1 assist sums up L1's standard, as if he carries on as he's started then he'll be approaching 20 goals for the season! Crawley have built a play off chasing team around Craig, Matthews and Nichols! As far as Grant's replacement Liddell must surely start, if he's not ready them Mehew, as I can't see non tackling McCormick can ever play the DCM role. Perhaps we could try Tutonda as he seems to like to wander into the middle of the pitch occasionally!
