I just texted my sheed mate Oldgas' opinion of Johnson and this is what he replied.... Absolutely spot on. He's no more than a consummate bull sh** artist .theres no substance in the man. No genuine football acumen. He would be ideal for the FA and England

Whenever I hear the term 'caretaker manager' I have this image of a manager with extra responsibilities, who walks around with a tool box, changing lightbulbs and fuses, unblocking toilets, and fixing Broken door handles....

You'd have to be f**king nuts to take that on with us based at the Mem. Christ.

Didn't Paul Cook make his name with Chesterfield? Good footballing side who soon plummeted after he left for bigger things. Don't think he'd be averse to joining us to maybe prove himself again? Does not need to prove himself again. Got Portsmouth and then Wigan promoted in the last few years.

I’m really hoping Wael tries to get him.

Also had a Pompey mate singing his praises and saying we should go for him

My worry is that he’ll go to somewhere like Sunderland, Pompey or Ipswich If and when one of them sack their manager. To be fair I think we’d be punching above our weight but you never know.

Yes agree. Should be our first choice but he is more likely to wait a little while as we approach that time of the year when lots of positions come up. I feel he would rather wait for one of the top league one teams as you mentioned or a bottom half championship team to become available.
