No bullsh1t honest interview. It wasn't good for the first 30 mins but hopefully it'll build the confidence. I really do think this squad has the ability.

Hallelujah!! Business like... it’s a football match... all about winning matches and finding out the best way to do that. Breath of fresh air at last! UTG

I really appreciated that interview. I like the theme he’s bringing to the team - being “business-like”
I couldn’t sum up what was wrong before any better. The Fleetwood game was a perfect example. How well they used the ball when they went forwards. The diametric opposite to our play.
Tisdale is clearly an individual with some interesting insights and thinks about things deeply.
I don’t want to get carried away - it’s easy to celebrate a manager who’s just won, but I do like the cut of his jib a lot more than the cut of his clothing

Difference between having a wannabe and a proper football manager to me. In the BBC Bristol interview (not sure if there was a TV one) he was suggesting he was treating the final ten minutes of the game with ten men as a game in itself and had feedback on how he wants us to play in that situation. That his favourite goal was the first one as he we got it after we’d been struggling to play well. This is the sort of stuff you want to hear from a manager. Intelligent thoughts about the match not the result and how we can learn from it to make ourselves better. Even if we’ve scored 6 against a side there’s things to be learnt to build upon for our next game. Our results (in the league at the least) haven’t flattered but I’m bouyed by the direction we’re going in and that we have a manager who has a plan.Yeah. But Baldrick had a plan.

I get criticised for that attitude as a fan! 😂 That’s exactly what I want to hear because it feels more objective- there is usually always improvements that can be made, even after a 6 goal win. Although to be fair scoring 6 and not conceding is pretty comprehensive. I haven’t heard his interview but from what you said it sounds like he is continuing to come across well. He went up in my estimation with the way he spoke after the Wigan game and he’s continuing to do so. It’s like night and day between the clarity and honesty of his post match assessments vs Garners!

Regarding the headgear, is there nothing else you could find to man about. He has very little hair I needs to keep his head warm. The poster who made this remark obviously is either in the position of not visiting his barber or is just naturally thick from the neck upwards. Calm down tiger Thick from the neck up ⬆️ 🤪

Just listened to it, I really love his attitude- no bullshit or insulting the fans intelligence. Not trying to make out we are world beaters after beating a non league side. He’s got high standards which is good to see.
And he made me laugh with that final quip of “well it’s better than losing” 😂 I like the guy.

Put simply, Tisdale knows what he is talking about. The previous guy didn't.

I believed in Garners vision until the very last game, I think even the most stubborn of his supporters had had enough by then.
The guy though... he seems the real deal

Really happy with his interviews and think this is so important as it is an opportunity to link with the fans or not. Football fans are straight talkers and we can't tolerate bullshit spoken about something we've just watched. A breath of fresh air from BG who felt sorry for himself by blaming the ref. I always thought this attitude to be self destruction and self perpetuating. So good to have a Manager who is more responsible. Thanks Tis good.
