Thought that was another good interview from the Gaffer tonight; as soon as he said “We were solid, but we weren’t good . . .” I warmed to him even more - he’s honest (so far), clearly doesn’t “gild the lily” and seems to have a definite plan in mind. What do the rest of you think?
Oh, and could someone with the right contacts pleeeeaase point out to that Hoskin bloke that PT’s surname is TISDALE, not TIDSDALE . . .

Difference between having a wannabe and a proper football manager to me. In the BBC Bristol interview (not sure if there was a TV one) he was suggesting he was treating the final ten minutes of the game with ten men as a game in itself and had feedback on how he wants us to play in that situation. That his favourite goal was the first one as he we got it after we’d been struggling to play well.
This is the sort of stuff you want to hear from a manager. Intelligent thoughts about the match not the result and how we can learn from it to make ourselves better. Even if we’ve scored 6 against a side there’s things to be learnt to build upon for our next game.
Our results (in the league at the least) haven’t flattered but I’m bouyed by the direction we’re going in and that we have a manager who has a plan.

Does anyone know where I can watch this interview? I didn't catch it at the time, as my view on iPlayer didn't show it.

Regarding the headgear, is there nothing else you could find to man about. He has very little hair I needs to keep his head warm. The poster who made this remark obviously is either in the position of not visiting his barber or is just naturally thick from the neck upwards.

It's so nice to listen to someone who tells it how it is again.

Good interview , I’m warming to him because he tells it like it is and he’s looked at our players and come up with the formation that best suits the players in our squad in my opinion and that’s not hindsight I’ve been saying it all season. He’s proper posh though inee !!

What a refreshing interview, even though we just won 6-0 he’s not getting carried away. You can tell by the way he said the first goal was the best because obviously he wasn’t happy as we weren’t playing well & it settled the side down & allowed us to play some decent football. PT is definitely a deep thinking manager with a lot of games under his belt.& knows there a lot of work & improvements needed in the forthcoming months.

Great interview and totally agree with his sentiment, great result but lots to improve on. That performance may have got us a win vs Wigan or Swindon but that’s about it! Very happy for now . . .

Great interview to Cap a good day for all at the Gas. Congrats on the 1st of many wins Mr Tisdale.
Yes it was Darlington, and it could have been a tougher test, bit this score line should bring a lot of confidence in the squad. Let’s hope we have finally reached a turning point. Looking 4wd to the draw (anyone from prem at home will be ideal with a slim chance of a few of us being allowed in by then). Looking 4wd to Wednesday more.
