I’m not allowed to go. I’ve already said that ffs. But if the only way you were allowed to watch Rovers in the flesh was through a mask then yes I’ve watched my last ever Rovers game. Good riddance! f**k you too.

I put some furry bits on the inside of mine. Makes wearing it seem much more palatable........😛

Why not leave it up to the individual to make a choice? EFL give clubs the choice so why don’t the club give their fans the same choice? Maybe the club have empathy for the human race ? Maybe it’s completely OTT nonsense. Like I said if it was that dangerous the EFL wouldn’t be giving clubs a choice I’m all for bashing our incompetent government but there’s plenty worse sh** than 1,000 socially distanced people in a 12,000 capacity space not having a face covering.

I’d be very careful about setting the bar on how deadly this pandemic is based on what the EFL think.

Just wear one or don't go, ffs! I’m not allowed to go. I’ve already said that ffs. But if the only way you were allowed to watch Rovers in the flesh was through a mask then yes I’ve watched my last ever Rovers game. Get a grip! I'm 70 years old and have watched Rovers since 1957. If you are not prepared to wear a mask, don't go and exercise patience for a while and hopefully by the start of next season we will all be able to go without wearing face masks. 66k deaths in the UK is reason enough to use some common sense, after all a lot of those deaths have been caused by people ignoring rules that are in place to try and keep us safe, but sadly a lot of people like yourself think they know better.

Spot on totally agree. It’s that sort of attitude from our government and the people in Britain that has got us in to this mess with Covid as well as other things that I probably shouldn’t mention because then this will get moved to the Brexit chat department of the forum if I do. Thing is if you’ve got no leadership at the top then you end up rotten to the core all the way down and it’s the people at the bottom that suffer the most. We’ve spoken about our club like that in recent times but it’s not only football , it’s politics , global pandemics, business, family pretty much everything. If Wael has had decisions to make regarding health and hygiene at his club then I back him because I rate him as a person as well as our President.

Are the club allowed to sell tickets? We have 1,500 ST holder this year I believe, I'd imagine not all of them will want to go, which potentially leaves 8-900 tickets per home game. Wonder if they'll put those on sell? We have 3,500 season ticket holders

We are in tier 3 so that's 2 season tickets stuck with ifollow. So the proposal for a 3 tier stand is off and it's back to a 2 tier stand to replace the tents then?

This isn’t the US though where if you don’t want to wear a face mask at a socially distanced football match it must mean your a fascist Trump supporting racist .

The same rules apply for busses , shops , taxis I don’t see the problem. Personally I’d rather wait until there’s more than 2000 and I don’t have to wear a mask anymore because for me it’s more about the atmosphere and the social aspect rather than just being in the ground watching live. So I’ll wait it out for a bit and hopefully in August when the next season kicks off we’ll have something more like the normal Gashead experience to enjoy.

It's a shame that peoples only response to what is a valid argument is "if you don't like it, don't go".

Perhaps some can voluntarily lock themselves down to compensate? It would actually work if enough people did it. Could also get a go fund me page for the NHS. There’s loads of positive, constructive things we can do, other than being vocal. I’ve been doing things the way I see fit based on what the experts ie the scientists have been saying from day 1 as well as gut instinct and ignored pretty much everything Johnson has said regarding rules and advice. Back in March it was clear the way it was going so I went in to lockdown a week before they declared it. I don’t need that bellend who’s apparently running our country to tell me what to do. Why ? Because he doesn’t give a sh** about the people in this country. The latest “ rules “ say that my elderly family members can come over for a couple of days over Christmas we normally have them over and it’s great fun but I’m not going to put their lives at risk now after we’ve all been so careful just because that complete bellend and his bunch of merry money grabbing tossers say it’s ok. Thing is , what we’ve needed in Britain all through this pandemic Is the people to use common sense but if the people in Britain had any common sense then this country wouldn’t be in the f**king mess it’s in the first place. UTG You have misconstrued the situation: socially, politically, morally, ethically; notwithstanding the contradictory rambling drivel of an addled mind, your opinions are valued, but maybe post them elsewhere. It would save us the bother of having to trawl through such pious claptrap in the hope of reading some Gas related matters.

3,600 seadon ticket holders I guess a good 50% of those are probably in tier 3 still when you think Kingswood,Downend,Yate, Longwell Green, Emersons Green, Mangotsfield, Chipping Sodbury, Staple Hill, Patchway, half of Filton, Winterbourne, Frampton, Frenchay, Bradley Stoke, Stoke Gifford, Thornbury All going to be in tier 3 still. Id be surprised if we make 2k out of 3,600 in season ticket holders able to attend. Just reading all the facts/statistics and its an utter joke South Glos is in tier 3 if the rest of the region arent. At least Skidmore the Kingswood mp has asked Matt Hancock why and to review it. You missed Wembley off that list ! Knowing I’m in a no travel zone and confined to more weeks watching home games on iFollow rather than using my season ticket is less important than knowing that at last Ehmer, Baldwin, Westbrooke, Grant, Hanlan, Ayunga, Nicholson, Oztumer, Koiki, Tutonda, Liddle and McCormick will be able to receive their first fan-led Goodnight Irene as Rovers players should they get picked to play...even if that chorus is mumbled into a face mask rather than loud and proud like we’re used to.
