Accrington Stanley (who are they?) away tomorrow. Funnily enough, despite being in the same division as them it’s been over two years since we last played at the Wham stadium, when we drew 0-0 in January 2019. Not a happy hunting ground for the Gas, we’ve never beaten the current version of Stanley on their own turf, playing 6, drawing 2 and losing 4.
So a tough game at the best of times but even tougher as we come into it failing to win in our last seven games, ASFC however are ninth in the table with a few games in hand and have beaten the likes of Charlton and Hull in recent weeks.

Tough Tough game .... They are in very decent form.
I think we lose this one but bounce back with a win on Saturday.

To give Hanlan a rest yes. The other option would be Ayunga but I think he needs confidence so possibly not the best game to start him. I’d we don’t sign a forward protecting Hanlan from Injury is critical |

Our best performances under PT have come when we've played either 4231 or a midfield diamond so I'd definitely go back to that. Assuming the injured players are all still out I'd go

Hargreaves might not be the most creative but alongside McCormick he'll give us energy in midfield, Westbrooke was poor on Sat, I'm not writing him off but would give him a break

Whoever we play I just hope Westbrooke doesn't start. |

We missed Baldwin Saturday in my opinion. I know Ehmer is captain but I’d give him a rest. Let him know he is not an automatic selection If your giving him a rest then why name him in your own starting 11? If it was a choice of him playing CB. I actually think Ehmer and a Williams one side and Luke n Dave the other would be a decent set up. Width of a 442 with enough attacking / defensive balance. |
