TW on new manager... “It has to be somebody who’s able to work with the squad and have a relative knowledge of the squad and the level” If he says level as in squad level fair enough but if he means level as in the division we are playing in then surely Rowberry won’t be the new manager. It will be TW then

TW also says he hasn't considered any of the applications, assuming he's telling the truth then it seems Rowberry can't even be on a short list let alone one of the favourites for the job?

Personally don't think Rowberry is the right man to take over when we're hovering just above the relegation zone and have just 11 weeks to pick up 8+ wins from 20 games. As TW said, we need somebody that knows L1 very well and knows a bit about our squads strengths and weaknesses. Somebody that can make an immediate impact. Barton is the only man who seems to tick all these boxes having managed in L1 this season and been pretty successful during his 3 years at Fleetwood. I remember all their "boxes being ticked" when Tisdale took over and so makes me wonder just what the questions were/are! I don't think now is the time to get in an inexperienced manager from outside the club however in the short term I would give it to TW after all it's his recruitment (or lack of it?) and he has knowledge of this group of players. He defintely comes across as someone who will tell the players a few "home truths" if that is what is required.

Question 2: Do you know what this is? ** lifts up football ** Question 3: When can you start?

Rowberry now clear second favourite to JB with Sky bet at 3/1, I can't understand who's putting money on BG Mk2.

Sam Frost has put up a name that's not even on the list so until the odds shorten dramatically I tend not to take much notice. And to call James Rowberry a BG MK2 is abit out of order as you have no idea of the man's credentials and what he could bring to the club.

If this guy gets the gig I might spend my Saturdays focussing on getting my damp garage up to scratch. I will help you
