Having spent the time since Holden was appointed vilifying, cursing and demanding he be sacked the Sh1!heads will no doubt start thanking him for al” he’s done for them. They’ve already star5ed saying how they want Clitterell back, after they hounded him out for daring to put them into the Champ. relegation spots, and are even saying that things were better under the Midget, after they spent four years and countless bed sheets demanding he was fired. What a horrible bunch of six fingered, web footed, pointy headed retards. I don't like their club one bit, but why do you say "they" as if all of them have the same opinion? Some are dickheads, some aren't. Some talk total BS, some don't. Same with Gasheads and any other fanbase. Banter between the two sets of fans is great, but I wouldn't want any of them to tar us on here with the same brush. Let's not do it with them as well. I am referring to the Sh1!heads who post on One Turd. If you bother to look they have a multiple thousand post thread dedicated solely to Rovers. Not one opinion on there is favourable to us. My comments are therefore confined to Sh1!heads on OneTurd. OK with you?

A whole bunch of people posting hysterical rubbish at times, which I don't agree with. Whilst I don't go on OTIB often, I would hazard a guess that not every contributor has the same opinion and posts that same vitriol. A lot of them might though, but those are the vocal ones. My opinion, and I don't expect you to agree with it, but that's fine.

A bit like leaving the house looking for dogsh1t to walk through then complaining the streets are covered in dogsh1t.

I know two types of city fan (with a few noticeable exceptions) - Tattoo of “england” on forearm, poor quality cocaine and cider hooligan from BS3, fights a lot. Works in the trades. Often with baseball cap. - Sneering corporate football fan “oh, you don’t support Rovers? I’d never take my kids to watch that level of football” type. There are some exceptions.

I know quite a few City fans, family and friends. All of them are normal, decent people who I enjoy bantering with. They just happen to be very misguided when it comes to which football team to support!

Funny how pantsdown came out in support of Holden on Monday and then Tuesday he is sacked. Sounds like a sh** version of a Craig David song...

Remember when this was the norm - the board give their 'vote of confidence' in public and really it's a warning that another crap result will result in sacking. They should have kept him on.

They will get it right one day. Let's hope it's another £100m of the turncoats money and 10 more years of misery for the poor, misguided big club.

They have been a good manager away from the premier league for a few years now. Fortunately they always hire the wrong guy. Eddie Howe would be the man I would be going for. Hopefully they make another pig’s ear of it. There's 23 other teams in that league believing the same thing. UTG!

I know plenty which could fall into your first example if you were to delete accordingly and a few of the second but most of the City fans I know are half decent, quite normal people funnily enough. I also know and have been unfortunate enough to meet a lot of Rovers who are not either of those descriptions and I know which I prefer. Swings and roundabouts but I do find quite a few Rovers supporters are way above their station, even to the point of delusion. That’s not aimed at you by the way.

Rovers fans are all fine fellows, good lads to a man. Always ready to help an old lady across the road and defend the weak, every man jack of them. City fans are sinister, sneering, crooked-faced malevolent sinister demons in human form, their lips curling from their twitching skulls only when pain and suffering are inflicted on the innocent.

I once worked on a small building site with a loud-mouthed City fan and an equally loud-mouthed Rovers fan (both of them young, in fairness). I kept my preference to myself. One lunch-time they had a particularly vociferous row, which culminated in an appeal to the site foreman for judgement. He said, "I think anybody who has the slightest interest in a stupid game like football is a ". They both accepted that with silly grins! Why can't people accept that someone who supports a team other than their own has the same interest as themselves. Jointly, we all follow the beautiful game - so why get ugly? Banter, yes - bring it on, it's part of the fun, but don't get vitriolic. Here endeth the sermon. Sorry about that.

Lansdown is a sneaky bugger. First he buys Bristol Rugby and takes them out of the Mem so we lose out on rent money from them, hoping we go into financial difficulties.
Then he buys the snake to stop us getting promoted.
Now he sacks his manager at the perfect time, probably in an attempt to hijack our potential new manager, in hope it messes things up for us and then relegates us. He really is threatened by us! Looking at the state of Newport's pitch thank goodness he took the rugby club away from The Mem, i can remember it being just like Newport's!

I do agree about being a decent manager away to a certain extent but I don’t think Lansdowne is that bothered to pump the necessary £ into the team to get them to the prem he’s got Premiership rugby and the bears (fnar) are top of the tree now which in comparison to football has been relatively cheap and fast to deliver. Bristol as a footballing town is a perennial underachiever and just not attractive to big name managers or players To be fair C*ty are a bigger club than Bournemouth Not now they’re not 4 years in the prem makes Bournemouth by far the superior side and currently attracting the Cv’s of John Terry, Thierry Henry etc - the stock is much much higher once they’ve been in the prem that stuff lingers it pervades the club like the whiff of school cabbage Ipswich , Wigan , Sunderland , Huddersfield they’ve all been there and they can all lord that over city all day long don’t mistake the size of the town with the stature of the club if that was the case the sh** or us or both would be top 6 prem
