I am a great fan of Mc Cormack but his shots on goal are awful. Monday morning training session is for him to learn how to actually hit the ball between the posts. Maybe we could do with Marcus Stewart back ! Utg

Leahy has earned that band and I won’t hear a word against him , yes he goofed at Hull but jeez anyone with a little defensive responsibility must be allowed the odd mistake As someone said earlier without him we’d be adrift already He’s busting a gut every game to get in behind and must be supported not criticised unless anyone can see a player out there working harder and prepared to do the hard miles Anyone ? Westbrook is clever and deft but would really benefit from someone like Ogogo , O Clarke etc , alongside , the fact he’s currently got Upson makes him look even more delicate but there is a sharp brain in there and it’s talks v well to his feet I’m not nor ever have been keen on Upson , he’s too slow to the punch , stands off too much and tracks without conviction I’d like to see Daly have a sustained run over Hanlon at this point. It’s not happening with Hanlon and just cos he’s scored 6 goals or whatever it is doesn’t mean he’s going to score another 6 , I can’t see him getting a rapport with Ayunga who I do rate and we should be building around him IMO Defence , I can’t even fathom where to start And Anssi can’t get back quick enough for me either What a feekkin season

Ed upson is a good pro, part of a squad, we are weak in his position. Don't blame him, it's not his fault we have no alternative. He certainly didn't look out of place today, I'm not sure I'd have his opposition over him? But I would have a younger fitter version from about the 60th minute. But who do we have to replace him? A midfielder who can pick a pass, defend and shoot Utter horse 💩. Ed Upson is the biggest fraud of a footballer this club has ever employed. Why are people, including management so blinded by him? He can’t pass, short or long range. He’s weak in the tackle, mistimes most of them and gives away senseless territorial free kicks as well as collecting cards like them are stamps. He’s poor in the air and wins nothing aerial wise in middle. He’s no longer a box to box as he doesn’t have the pace in L1 and he doesn’t have the strength or minerals to be a holding midfielder either. On the off chance he does get a shot away from distance, unless it’s a total fluke like Tuesday night, most of them find the top of the tent or halfway between the post and the corner flag. The only consistency Upson has about his game is that he is consistently, utter toilet. Put it this way, Ollie Clarke, Liam Sercombe and Chris Lines would walk into this squad and first team ahead of Upson right now.

We didn't stand a chance: Exactly that we are playing teams that behave like teams , win or lose together and actually care , Charlton obvious quality aside were 2 down TO US on Tuesday but they dug in and turned us over they point blank wanted it more , end of . muff , same and as soon as our lot saw that they let em roll on end of season I’m sick of em

Barton questioned some players lack of desire and aggression and this would seem to be his conservative view of the situation. I get the feeling that Barton knows this lot are not up for it and has to accept that relegation is almost a certainty. We attract "sick notes" to the Club and this policy just has to stop. Little, Barrett, Daly, Nicholson, Rodman, Davies, Jaakola all spend too much time with medium to long term injuries and the cost to Wael is significant. Rodman not withstanding his recent illness has played nowhere near enough games for us since he signed. Was Nicholson carrying an injury before he was signed? Daly was injury prone before and since his arrival. The signings of Little and Barrett just highlights how amateurish our recruitment process has been for too long at Bristol Sloppy Rovers AFC. Maybe we are playing a part in some of these injuries?

We were never going to get a result at Charlton compared to Plymuff and Swindon, so that would have been the perfect opportunity to rest a few 1st teamers.

My mates will swear blind you are me cos I couldn’t put it better myself and have been saying exactly this to anyone that will listen for the entire time Upson has been here he really must not let the door hit his ass on the way out Interesting because I’m with Woolavaton. He was shocking in his first few months for us but became much better as time went on. He does have a mistake in him but you can forgive him a little more as he’s playing a little further up the pitch. He has been deployed as a defensive midfielder at the gas and it’s no coincidence that all bar one manager have put their faith in Ed’s abilities and he was an important player for one of those whom over a 12 month period was seeing us punch for promotion. The problem with defensive midfielders is they often look sh**. I have been seen to be critical of Upson in the past, and of Grant more recently at the start of the season. But these players are the kind of player whose mistakes are blatant but the successes are relatively unnoticed. On Grant I would put my hand up now and say i was wrong about him, and I’m on balance a fan of Ed’s. I’m not sure I would extend his contract though, given his progressing age and likely high wage demands.

Could not watch as had to do emergency jobs, but utter rank defending too much space given in the box, the second we had so many defenders in there but not touch tight.
Need David Blaine with this lot not a manager, we clearly need a magician to stay up, perhaps Tisdale was not so far away from the truth, just found his interviews uninspiring.

The excuse is no Craig type leader but surely Ehmer, Williams, Leahy and Baldwin don't need to be told how to defend during a game, when they are hardly inexperienced players?

Its telling at the end of the games our players do the fist pump and walk off. Very rarely see any of these chancers look exhausted after 90 minutes.thay dont give it everything while they are on the pitch and that is the biggest crime

I don’t want to forget about the good that Baldwin has done in the match yesterday. Yes he has had his positional faults at times in matches but once again he (stats wise) was up there with the leagues best.
Aerials won 10 Clearances 9 Interceptions 4 Tackles 3 Possession 6.9% Shots 1 Dribbles 1 Key passes 1

It’s been a shocking season, but the thought of relegation is closing in on us, the fact we could be in a league lower than Cheltenham and Forest green says so much how bad decisions have been.

I know, has to be the biggest BS ever.... Yeah I think he has his words muddled up here. Maybe all of them ran 10K during the match? Yeah, 10K is about right for a busy player over the 90 minutes. As a fat 50-something I run 10K in about 50 minutes so it's not a massive amount in pure distance terms.
