I would have thought for Tisdale's own self respect as well as his career prospects his inclination will be to sue. What will stop him is the potential cost and the fact everyone knows Barton is an idiot so no one will take his comments seriously |

My Club .... Our Club ... Is the laughing stock of English football.
Not just for the dross on the pitch but in the awful way the appalling running of the club is played out in public.
It's an absolute tragedy... I want to stay positive but with every passing week i sense I am drifting further away from this Circus.

Im of the thinking he changed his presentation of the players to "boys" so to deflect blame from them a bit. Only young lads who can only do as they were told as they dont have the experience to know better. That its the methods used before that are to blame not these boys. Followed up by the actual blaming of previous methods used and those implementing them. Im also assuming he doesnt need to watch footage as all he has to do is ask the players and existing coaches what had been done. They were there after all ! |

Embarrassing. Considering both Garner and PT were dignified when they left and haven’t said a bad word about the club or the fans the fact it is in the Daily Mail of all papers is very sad. It also dawned on me that for Barton to have made those comments with any substance he would have had to watch 160 hours of pre-season training videos (2 2hr sessions a day x 8 weeks), then all the games, then review the records of our physios, conditioning and fitness coaches, then review the fitness levels of our players (all monitored now). Following that he would have had to watch 120 / 140hr of in season training games and review the same information with the back room staff etc to be able to form a valid opinion. Does anyone genuinely believe 280 / 300 hrs of badly filmed training footage (we did pre season at the school) has been reviewed and analysed by JB? What a load of nonsense. And does anyone genuinely believe you do not have a link with Garner. |

Maybe nothing will happen, but then again even a small risk of it makes it not worth mentioning, when it served no purpose in the first place other than to absolve Barton from blame after we've continued to slide down the table. |

Rovers just need to quietly go about their business and try and get out of this mess that we are currently in.
JB just needs to shut up and get on what with what he is being paid to do, win football matches not moaning about what happened before his appointment beyond his control.

For all the faux intellectual stuff, when it boils down to it he is an outspoken person (Not necessarily always a bad thing) and it's clear as day that this characteristic has gotten him in trouble on plenty of occasions and we knew that when we appointed him |
