I fail to see how Covid' has hampered progress on Fruit Market stadium. Like everything else with the running of this club, i think this is all pie in the sky. No faith whatsoever. Stuck at the awful Memorial Stadium indefinitely! Remains to be seen how many will be bothered to watch Rovers next season. exactly Watched every game on ifollow this season and as a club they will need to work damn hard to get what's remaining of a dwindling fan base to spend time and effort to get to a bomb site to watch downs league football. Supporters have got in the habit now of just watching it at home. When you speak to others and what they miss it's not the game but the social side of meeting before and after a match there. Even when ifollow stops on a sat I don't believe there will be a rush to get back unless the results are positive from the beginning.

I miss the smell of the stadium - of the burnt pies and pasties on the lead up. The noise of Gasheads crawling through the gates and onto the terrace. The jubilation of goals when we actually get some (we might actually start scoring again back in l2). IFollow gives you none of this. If we’re sh**, and it’s just for the social side, then why not watch a sh** premier league game in a pub? For me watching on TV doesn’t compare to the match day experience watching your own club.

I think the real danger is people finding different things to do in the next couple of months now we are finally allowed out. I'm sure there are plenty of gasheads that haven't watched a game this season so are totally disconnected with it already after more than a year. Breaking the habit of going is the hardest thing to do and that's already happened with foundations for new hobbies beginning to form now.

I don't get those who suggest that a reset is just what we need. It's the last thing we needed but it's been forced on us because of incompetence at all levels. We went through all this in 2014. A huge rebuild had to take place, and it did. Not so long ago, and here we are back in L2, probably. Well almost certainly. What is there to show for it, five managers later? Improved club shop and bars. Ok. Training facility being built. A big tick there. About £22m of debt, or maybe £4m of debt and £18m of capitalised debt, before LJG starts to flick furiously through his well-thumbed copy of 'Accountancy for Dummies'. Call it what you like, Wael will want his money back one day. Or as much as he can extract. He's not a charity. A very poor and unbalanced squad with a massive rebuild needed. A manager with no L2 experience. A stadium crumbling before our eyes, with no prospect of replacing it or even improving it for years to come. It's all been a wasted opportunity since the playoff final in 2015. We had a chance to progress in the following seasons, and had started that progress, but it's been thrown away and here we are back in L2, worse off than when we were there last time. This post intrigued me. We’re in a much better situation than in 2014, our crumbling stadium, whilst unavoidably an issue as a whole and still crumbling and embarrassing is probably in a better state than then. Extra and better quality stands, better bars, better media screens for information and revenue generation, better maintained as a whole. Dont get me wrong still a lot being asked for but it isn’t as bad as it was. That’s without considering pitches. Everything else is a clear improvement. A league higher and actually in the football league. Training facilities we own and of a high standard. Hopefully without fox sh**. Our manager might not have L2 experience but he has managed to playoff level in the league above which Darrell hadn’t. I appreciate your point on losses but you have to spend to survive in football and a lot of the situation is due to our lack of appropriate match day facilities for revenue generation on non match days and to bring more footfall to matches. Comparing this to our last promotion isn’t a fair comparison, compare it to our last relegation and things look better. If we repeat the successes after our last relegation were in the championship. Over to you Joey. (Before anyone says, of course I know this is a ginormous ask)

Following yourselves since J.B came in I am feeling some of your pain (obviously nothing like you boys/girls) but it looks almost nailed on that you are going down now . 6 points off safety with 4 to play just looks too big of a task but I suppose its not over until the fat lady sings I would imagine that if you were offered a chance of survival by beating Blackpool on the last day and staying up if Swindon win at Wigan you would have to take it. I really hope Joey sticks it out in league 2 and proves himself when he has the chance to build a team in his own image. He has talked the talk so he needs to repay the faith most of you have put in him. UTG You total, 100%, Ted troll...**** off

You total, 100%, Ted troll...**** off What a very disrespectful post to insult someone who has posted some interesting, well thought out observations on our plight and on JB, always good to hear what those not emotionally involved with Rovers think of our club, and that sort of post does nothing to enhance how others see us.

Struggling a bit with the quote feature mate? By the way, it's clear that a lot more people enjoy your posts on here than those who don't. Don't be put off from posting because of one individual.
