‘Season tickets’ on the other forum is worth a read. The usual prophets of doom ( perpetual, it’s the same mob for 20 yrs) are getting schooled. Great entertainment. Haven't been on there for ages but i see Swiss and his happy band of followers are at it again,it was an interesting read but really had nothing to do about season tickets after page 1.

The last time he was on here banging about finances, Wael’s incompetence, how we were facing pending administration or liquidation and the Mem was going to be sold, all within 12 months, Wael capitalised the debt and made him look like a right mug.
He then spent 6 months watching companies house saying Wael had lied as there was no record of it blah blah blah and when it did come through he looked like a right mug again.

It seems a few people have had this issue. I haven't had any formal response from Rovers/Ticketmaster yet.. but somebody mentioned that you can go into your account history on www.eticketing.co.uk/bristolrovers/ and see the transaction in there. You can then "Resend e-mail" from within there and you get your confirmation mailed out. Can't wait to see if my "reactivated" season card actually works on the opening day of the season, mind Sorry for being thick but how did you get this to work in the end? I logged into the eTicket page and there is a " My Account" tab in the top right of the screen. Click on that and there is a drop down list. Under " Account Management" click " Account History" You should then be taken to a page with a list of all the historical transactions on it. One of those transactions (probably the most recent one) will be your season ticket purchase. Click on it and the details of that transaction will be there along with an option to " Resend E-mail". That triggers your confirmation e-mail. Weirdly my account balance still says £50 even though I used that credit as part of my season ticket purchase. Proper tin pot.. and that's not a dig at Rovers, this is using Ticketmaster - where you would assume this is their bread and butter and everything should be (more or less) seamless.

Edit: Oops, just received several confirmations from my several clicks.. UTG!

So I finally managed to sort the issue. Called Ticketmaster today and apparently there was no previous season ticket shown so it didn't think I was eligible to buy one now. To be fair the bloke on the phone was very useful and had it sorted within the hour. Was dreading having to call them as I assumed I'd be on hold for hours but I got straight through. All sorted now including the 50 quid off. Cheers for the reply.

Apparently I am a Troll for having the audacity to challenge one or two of them, and some actually think its a set up by Wael and he is feeding me information. All because I have the audacity to challenge their continual negativity towards the ownership.

My ambulant disabled season ticket has increased from £125 a season to £340 for the forthcoming season. Now I’ve had a season ticket since 1987 and only over the last 10 years have I been told I am eligible for a disabled ticket with a free ticket for my ‘carer’. There’s been about a steady increase of circa £10 per season up until this season. I can walk albeit with quite a struggle and can only use my right arm but would never expect any difference in what other (more baked bodied) people pay but the clarity from the club is the disabled season ticket pricing has now been brought into line with the able bodied season ticket holder as part of the level playing field match day experience. Listen, I’ll get a season ticket anyway irrespective of disabled pricing as was or the full pricing as is now. Just thought I’d raise this as there could be long term disabled such as I with income restrictions (which thank god I don’t) that you won’t be seeing this season. UTG

UTG I’m really interested in others opinions on this, thanks for raising it pal 👍 so , as a disabled person you are happy ta be treated equal an are happy ta pay th rate others pay as a result, however others may not be ableta afford it an yous feel they may need help. My point/or question would be - do you think folk with financial issues deserve a discounted rate generally?

End of the day I’m lucky, great job and lovely house in a nice area and been working full time since I left school in 89, 3 years after my brain haemorrhage at the age of 13 in 1986 so I suppose I’ve grown up instinctively independent. Lucky, fortunately independent are 3 pivotal words. Others may not have that financial stability and probably COVID has negatively impacted hundreds too. You make a valid point. Discounts for those with financial need would be the right thing to do in my opinion. But where do you draw the line ?

UTG it might be worth dropping Tom Gorringe a line and asking him if he could explain the reasoning behind this

I have and he confirmed it was relayed as a message at the start of the season, which it was to me by Clare in the shop. This doesn’t help those that are under financial pressure through various circumstances though be it through disability or other means. A nigh on 250% increase is unacceptable when other prices have been frozen. Where’s the level playing field there ?
