Fantastic initiative and wonderful to see the cause going as well as it has been. Long may it continue.
That being said, it is mighty strange (and rather out of order) to see those particular pictures posted to this message board. I assume, without the individuals permission.

Not the first time you’ve implied she’s only popular because of the pictures she posts. That’s just the impression I got. It’s generally not the best to posts pictures of others on here like that without their permission. Yeah I know it’s already in the public domain but still. But that's the issue. If you want to be taken seriously don't post pics of your bits to the Internet. Gender is irrelevant. Peter Anrde won't ever be taken seriously either. It is public domain because it was posted online by hee. Its not like he has hacked her private stash of pics and shared them against her will is it? My lad is 13 and he gets pics on Instagram of girls in his year in bras and pants. 13 year old girls are posting this stuff. It's wrong and kids need educating and better role models. But why shouldn’t she be taken seriously because of that? I follow Caz on Twitter and have seen her photos come up on my timeline every now and then over the years, but I’ve never let it impact my opinion of her football opinion when listening on sound of the Gas, gaschat etc. because why should it? If I agree with something she says, I’m not then gonna go “ actually she posted a photo in her nightie a while back so screw what she thinks.”

I don’t know and have never met Caz but I have listened to her on the podcasts and read the articles and read and watched the #HerGameToo stuff. She knows her stuff about football generally and she’s a great ambassador for the club. The fact she’s stunning and has a great figure has nothing to do with it…. The pictures posted earlier of her on her I just see as someone posting pictures where they think they look good and are proud…. I don’t do Twitter or Fakebook so I don’t know the context behind why she posted them (not that she needs to justify it) but irrespective, she and to be fair no one (man or woman) should be abused or trolled ….. Don’t know if Caz is on this place or not but if you’re reading this, keep up the fantastic work you do and don’t let the haters get to you, get you down or stop you from your passions. She can do all that without underwear shots. What about all the women and girls who like football who don't look like her in their underpants? If they want to post pics it’s entirely up to them? Why should anyone be told what they can or can’t post (obviously if it’s hate or illegal etc that’s different) …. But if someone wants to post a pic of themselves in their pants then that’s up to them - just because they do doesn’t mean they’re doing it for attention…. And it doesn’t justify anyone trolling or vilifying them for it. It’s all about individuals personal standards and boundaries…. And what one person sees another sees different…. personally I think we should just focus on Caz for her football knowledge and the great cause #HerGameToo is….

She's free to do what she wants, but she has to know that underwear pics and posts about football are not a happy marriage. Why do it? Probably because all her friends and peer group do it. That's not a good reason in my opinion. It is a bit degrading to me. As are the ever-increasing numbers of young guys posing in much the same way. It's the internet. It's for everyone to see and comment on and judge and praise and condemn. She surely can't be surprised that it's been picked up on? Can she?

The hergametoo campaign is about equal treatment for women. Gary Lineker presented Match of the Day in his boxers. No one batted an eyelid. While he was actually settling a promise he never thought he would need to deliver on, the difference in feedback is noticeable. Had one of the female commentators or presenters made the same promise and delivered on it, would they have received the same (largely non-existent) reaction? I doubt it.

As a female - older generation, admittedly - I just don't understand why girls/women want to put pics like that in the public domain. It's just one step away from Only Fans, where people earn money for pictures, some of which are not much more explicit than these. The male equivalent is blokes with 6 packs and budgie smugglers - the only effect they have is to make me laugh.
As for posting the pics on this message board - if you don't want it shared, don't post it on internet sites which are available for everybody to view.
Although the pics are in no way relevant as to whether somebody has a decent knowledge of football, or not, I don't think it's a very good example to set for younger girls who have been inspired by Her Game Too.

In fairness, Caz hasn’t posted photos like the ones posted on this thread for a good, good while. Certainly not since Her Game Too was started. I think that should be said too.

We’ll said Tilly. It seems to me this sort of thing is purely for exposure which seems to be a valued commodity these days. However if this is what role models look like in the modern age, I fear for my daughters future. Lord I hate social media.

Think some people will use anything against someone if they have a disagreement online. It’s not right, who ever it is. If it was a woman saying you don’t know anything about football, you dumb jock, would it get the same attention??

I think it's brilliant that she is at the forefront of such a positive and worthwhile movement. I think it's a shame that young girls who are interested in football and want to emulate her will feel they need to look like her and do underwear shots. These prominent people online are called influencers for a reason.

I'm not advocating for trolling or abuse. I think that maybe I'm not articulating what I mean very well. I don't mean to come across as critical or attacking her but she has found herself at the front of something that is really important but because she posts certain types of pics she is appealing to some people because of how she looks, not what she says. She is also reinforcing the myth that for a woman to be successful she has to look like, well Caz. Her game too is important. Not making 13yr old girls think they need to post underwear pics to get likes and followers on Instagram is more important. I'm not blaming Caz for that because that would be ridiculous, but sadly there is a correlation.

It's about gender identity and diversity. The right to be accepted for who you are within the Human Rights framework. The fact that it's sparked off a 4-page "debate" on a football fan forum only shows how much it is needed.

I'm split with this.
Part of thinks it's a great campaign, can also tell Caz knows her stuff re football so no issues there. Another part of me doubts the sincerity of it. It screams "me, me, me".
I'll try and be positive and give the benefit of the doubt to a good campaign. 😊
