With the mask thing, presumably they mean it’s everyone’s preference to wear a mask whilst in the stands watching the game but you must wear a mask when moving around the stadium? It’s confusing and conflicting the way they’ve worded it but that’s my interpretation. But, apologies, it could be argued that that interpretation is also a bit illogical in that you are saying you don’t have to wear a mask when sat/stood next to someone for a couple of hours (personal preference) watching a game but moving around the stadium when you pass by someone, likely at a greater distance and likely for a few seconds only, you do need to wear it (mandated)? Maybe I am just reading too much into it and happy to be corrected if I have misconstrued what you/BRFC are trying to say.

NHS App has access to your medical records, it is a long winded process to register for obvious reasons (security). But via the App you can access a page containing your vaccination Jab dates vaccine batch etc etc. But are the club going to check every phone ?, from experience elsewhere, highly unlikely, but none the less, it is a requirement we have to obey. NHS COVID-19 App works by Bluetooth and automatically registere’s if you come in contact with someone infected etc. As for kids ?? Over to BRFC!!

On entry wear your mask, on the terrace space yourselves out or congregate in your social bubble where you can then take your mask off. When moving away from your spot in to a general mingling zone (e.g going to the bogs, getting a pasty, exiting after final whistle) then the mask should go back on.

“It is down to fans personal preference whether fans wish to wear a mask whilst at the stadium. “
Doesn’t seem to say they have to be worn at any time in the stadium, whether moving around or not. Seems sensible given a lot of it is outside in the open air. I suspect the code of conduct is rules for previous times when more restrictions were in place.

Maybe I am just reading too much into it and happy to be corrected if I have misconstrued what you/BRFC are trying to say. I think it’s more of a realisation on the part of BRFC that they can’t expect/enforce all of their fans to wear masks in the stands for the full 90 minutes. Fans will want to sing, chat, drink cups of tea, eat sausage rolls etc all of which is tricky to do whilst wearing a mask for the length of a full game. Therefore it’s easier for them to make it personal preference to wear a mask rather than mandatory. It’s more reasonable for them to ask supporters to wear masks whilst moving about the ground as your only going to need to have it on for a couple of minutes at most and the risk is still there that you’ll walk into the air of someone with Covid in front and inhale that without a mask. That would be my guess anyway.

They have sent me a certificate to say I have had 2 jabs, although they gave me a card when I had my second, saying I have had 2 so I laminated it, and its the same size as credit card. I carry it all the time. I am on the Thatchers terrace and will be wearing a mask, given that its spreading through Bristol quicker than a dose of the clap.

After that who knows.but with some tests costing upto 30quid then I cant imagine they will be happy for them to be free for people to attend football matches next season

If it’s any help, just read on Facebook a lady called Clair who regularly posts on there & I believe works for the club in some capacity , saying you don’t need the app you can just show your vaccination card.

If that's the case that's good news, but was under the impression the vac card is not acceptable. It even says that on the NHS site.

Does the venue have any discretion on what is/is not acceptable to them? Getting lost in all this now tbh……

Hopefully I believe Tom Gorringe has been informed about the uncertainty & is due to put out a FAQ statement before Saturdays game to clarify the situation .
