Swansea have announced they will not be selling any programmes this season. The programme will be free online. For those who still like to save programmes, full sets of printed programmes will be sold at the end of the season for £69.

Any news on the 50/50?.
I heard this was now being run by the FC, but doesn't look like they have sorted it out yet?

They made themselves redundant. Still no news on the vote for a new SC Director either. I feel for the many great volunteers who dedicate so much time to support the club in the SCs name. They have been dreadfully let down. That's it in a nutshell. The volunteers are highly thought of so if there are no volunteers (as not needed), the SC has no place. I've long thought having a SC is essential in keeping a football club accountable to the fans but sadly ours repeatedly shot itself in the foot! Didn't the SC do this through? didn't Wael only pay the debt that has been racked up since he took over, AFTER the SC called him out?

I do not know all the facts H,but I know the SC has been trying to speak/work with them, but it seems certain members of the football club have just kept them in the dark. Sad.

Do you really think he did that because the SC pointed out that debt was increasing? I think he did it after he acquired a controlling shareholding of the FC because that was always his intention.

Programme was hardly worth the effort yesterday. And to think it used to be award winning.

Not defending the club here
But, Where is the communication/uproar from The SC over this?
All I am hearing are the whispers and second hand info.
Surely this sort of thing should be communicated by The SC to the fans if they are being cut out

The 50/50 was a popular thing which raised funds for the Gas Girls. A shame to stop It.

So you think the football club would deliberately "lose" revenue of £20-30 k, plus pay additional staff costs, just to get rid of the SC? My view is yes, this would be until the sc either packs in or feels it can no longer carry out a role. I feel they are being undermined for a reason. As I say, just my opinion

My view is yes, this would be until the sc either packs in or feels it can no longer carry out a role. I feel they are being undermined for a reason. As I say, just my opinion Part of me wonders whether The SC wants to be put out of their misery. If the club are stopping The SC selling 50/50 and programmes, you kind of have to assume they are ok with this because it doesn't appear that The SC are complaining (at least not publicly) Pretty sure The SC would have support on this issue, but unless the SC make it one....

I thought 50/50's were a supporters club initiative, and all done independently from the club.... Can't see how or why the club would stop that?

Rather sad looking at the SC website. No news, no communications, definitely no Jim's Jottings. Just a bit of info on coach travel and the following forlorn message:
"We are no longer allowed to sell 50/50 tickets at the stadium on a match day and our online draw is our only means of holding our much loved 50/50 draw and of raising much needed funds for our Academy."
I know the club and SC fell out over Ken and the role of the Fans Director, but I don't know how they have been brought to their knees. Surely it's up to the SC to speak up and tell their members what they think, rather than crawl into their shells and virtually stop functioning.

It’s inaction since the whole KM debacle has allowed the FC to quietly put it to sleep.

Tom Gorringe has phoned a lady who e-mailed him about the various problems yesterday. She has posted this on one of the FB pages:
Phone call from Tom Gorringe Well I bent his earhole good and proper In regard to the security issues there is a health & safety meeting tomorrow and all of the issues I related to him together with issues raised by others will be addressed I told him there should have been an announcement about no one being allowed at the front of the terrace This has been forced on the club Poor Communication No 1 He has asked for information on the numbers on jackets or Door safe IDs of any security staff being rude They will be sacked In regard to the 50/50 Programme Volunteers he has asked all of them to supply their email address by writing to him at Tom. Gorringe@BristolRovers.co.uk He wants to update them personally This needs to be done ASAP (names removed for privacy) The long and the short of it is that there has been a breakdown in relations between the Club and Supporters Club and the Programme/50-50 Volunteers have been caught in the crossfire In other matters Young Pirates are not being abolished In my opinion the Supporters Club need to have an AGM ASAP last one was 2019) to thrash out from members point of view what is their role and to have safeguards in place to stop this happening again

Probably the same reason we've got a thug as a manager and can't use our season ticket cards, the club's hierarchy basically haven't a clue how to run a football club.
