Anyone tell me if you need to prove a negative test for Saturdays game against Oxford and do you need the track and trace app to allow entry?

No pay on the day either. The FC really are trying to make it hard for supporters to do business with them at the moment. We have a fan base that is used to rocking up on the day and paying on the gate or at least at the ticket office. They will no doubt say we all need to wise up, use technology. Download our tickets to our phones or print at home. I’m sure lots will embrace that but a lot of the older generation will not, and we are not doing so brilliantly on the pitch at the moment are we, and a lot of people aren’t going to be arsed!
Sure, offer tickets via technology but there should still be a facility to pay cash on the day, at least whilst we are an utter shambles on the pitch and need every supporter we can get!
Prepare for crowds like we used to get in the early days at Twerton.

Would or should ticket master provide this as additional information to a event so people know what is required

I think we can assume these are the rules until we hear differently

www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/2021/july/faq-return-of-fans/There is info on here about getting in - as well as saying why it is ticketmaster only - that is all they are allowed to do to avoid away fans going. Only people who have purchased Rovers tickets before can get them apparently. Appreciate you have to go on the website to find it - but they do explain why they are doing what they are doing and what you need to do in order to get in.

LFT from last two days registered on the NHS app, or proof of double vaccination +14 days, to be shown at the gate.
Don’t need to print out the e-tickets even though they keep saying they’re for printing out.

It will be easier to go to a away game with less hassle this season

Free for all. Help spread herd immunity. That will save me getting a job, I mean jab.
Little girls footy presentation for another superb, champions season. Team Mendip orange sox.
Sadly and gutted will have to miss this hostile un-friendly, friendly.

It’ll most probably be like most sporting events so far since April where they say you have to this and that but when you get there if you’ve got a ticket they just let you in.

Ooo hello , yr back ! 💙 I’ve had a look in here from time to time over the last few months but there hasn’t been much worth commenting on. Once the football starts I’m more interested, the selections, the players, formations , performances etc. Rumours and opinions about Court cases , arguments about not football playing matters by fans who 99%if which don’t know the facts because they are fans don’t interest me much but yeah never away just looking in every few days , not been posting because there’s nothing to post on and looking forward to first game of the season. Prepare for crowds like we used to get in the early days at Twerton. Is it not the case that a lot of this is out of the club hands, eg no away fans and no pay on the day? I think with the Swansea game being cancelled we are still yet to have a ‘test’ game to get safety certification. My understanding is that once we’ve successfully had a reduced capacity test event we can then move to closer to normal with away fans being allowed for our first home game and also the match day ticket office re-opening. The club have taken a lot of stick recently but I don’t think this is something that can be fairly added to the list of complaints.

We don’t need any test events, all restrictions on attending football matches have been lifted with effect from July 19th. There is no requirement for a test event like there was when some clubs were allowed to let home fans only in last season for a bit. Other clubs are allowing pay on the gate, most other clubs if not all are allowing away fans in. The fact we do neither is a club decision very much in their hands. Also I’m not sure that the ticket office is reopening when the season starts. I think the club want to save on costs and force people to deal through ticketmaster.
