We have a good man at the top and i believe a manager who knows his football and if he can rid his head of the demons could go on to great things. easier said than done i know as there are plenty out there who will try to bring out the dark side of JB but somehow he has to keep a lid on it, hope he gets help in this respect .
After last years events i have no idea how the squad will shape up , it looks good but then again so did last seasons! we will soon find out.
Finally good luck to all the fans who will have there game back this season, safe journey to all going today, have a great day and what ever happens lets not have a melt down or 'crowning of champions' reaction post match! up the Rovers!

Weii with Collins. Pitman and Hanlan injured what are the options for Joey? Depends who else is unfit really. There must be doubts over Taylor, Anderton, Baldwin, Rodman, , Barratt and of course Nicholson is almost certainly a non starter. Of the doubts surely at least a few of them will be fit enough to be in the squad.
So what can we expect?
Well Jaakkola in gola and Belstraw taking the first place on the bench thats pretty certain.
The defence has shown plenty of signs of being a back 3 but only Hughes is a definite starter. If its a three then it could be Kilgour and Taylor or Kilgour and Alderton or Harries could be in the running. Grant could fill in as well as that has been employed in two of the friendlies and then there is still Houle but I would be very surprised to see him in anything other than a back 4.
Moving on to the midfield well Coutts will be there and Grant is likely but is there a chance that Finley will make his first appearance? If it is a back three then the wing backs will probably be Anderson and Clarke but still the possibility that Rodman could play. The other two midfielders could be Westbrooke , Spense or Hargreaves or Liddle leaving a front two of Saunders and Thomas.
So the definites on my teamsheet are
Jaakkola, Hughes, Grant, Anderson, Coutts, Clarke, Thomas and Saunders.
That leaves three positions to fill though from the friendlies I would say Westbrooke and Kilgour are likely occupants of two of them.
Overall I think 2pm will be an interesting time as I set off now excited for the day ahead but apprehensive as well. Such is the life of a gashead!! UTG

It will be very tough without the striking options of Pittman, Collins and Hanlan (no giggling at back) available.

I see from the official preview that we’re wearing our third kit today, which I find strange as the blue and white seem to clash the least of all the options and it’s what’s we’ve worn before (have we gone back to blue shorts as that might explain it?).

After last season, it will just be great to be at a game, a goal to cheer would be a bonus and a point or three would be fantastic (as I think everything points to a slow start for us).

Leisurely start to the day for me - one of the benefits of only having to travel from Leicester! Can’t wait!
