Dam hell, the Evening Post is like the Amityville webpage. I have chrome adblocker installed and it still manages to bring up full page ads.

If he does I hope the boo boys who haven't given the poor bloke a chance at all since he was appointed in March/April will be pleased with themselves. A new manager will then come in with his own ideas, his own list of players and this promising looking team will be dismantled and we will have to start from scratch, effectively ruining our chances this season and there's no guarantee they'd get it right for next year either.
DC knows he's on to a good thing here if he can get us promoted this year. 99.99% of fans will be delighted with him if we bounced back at the first attempt and I would be extremely confident of our chances in League Two with this team and him in charge. We're a big club (relative to the level) with a superb fan base, and we have potential to grow if the UWE Stadium does happen (no arguments on that here please!). I think DC would be stupid to trade that in for a run down Victoria Park with very small attendances and a very weak looking squad.

Told you so, Dins
I wouldn't blame him after the absolute poop he gets off of some of the dicks in our fanbase. Second in the league and they want him gone for another gamble on someone else. What a bunch of retards.

The bookmakers are not quoting odds on him joining Hartlepool and they have Craig Hignett as an odds on favourite to take over. Yes I can see Hartlepool being interested in DC and vice versa but not convinced this will go anywhere.

Another day, another anti Rovers story from the Bristol City Evening Post.
Complete bollocks since the bookies don't even list him.
This story is designed to stir shitt and its worked.

Any manger worth their salt could get us in the play offs (aside not saying i want him to leave)

Dinsdale, And that is why we are where we are with comments like you have just made. "Any Manager worth his slat could take us to the Play offs". Is this the same as saying "Any Manager worth his salt wouldn't see us in the bottom half of League 2 at Xmas"? Bring in for a round of applause Mr Paul Buckle, Mr Mark McGhee(Scotlands No 2-take that any way you want) and Mr John Ward!!. When will some people see that we actually have a good Manager who will attract the attention of other clubs. Some people will only see this when he is gone and who will gate the blame? - The Board. It seems with many the credit where credit is due is a thing of the past.

Steve if fans cant see that a proffessional club who averages 6000 fans should be able to beat part time clubs that get 500 fans then the level of ambition at this club is laughable. We have dropped 2 divisions and i say again any half decent manager should be able to get us into the top 5.DC is doing a good job in his first proper role at a proffessional club but nothing more. hartlepool are at rock bottom and need a manager with experience to get them out of the hole they are in. Someone who can come in and turn someone elses failing team around. Thats what we should have done last season.

Why are you talkin about us getting rid of him ? You are reading what you want to read and flying off the handle

I doubt he would be up for another relegation to the conference on his cv. He has unfinished business here and can't see him going.

Nobody with any sense thinks Hartlepool would be so daft It seems as though the Bookies contacts weren't very reliable when the post was vacant back in 2012 @skybet Hartlepool manager odds - Darrell Clarke 3/1, Colin Cooper 5/1, Micky Barron 6/1, 'Unbelieveable Jeff' 500/1 11:39 AM - 29 Oct 2012
