What does threads like this really achieve he has played for us for 5 league games so far.
No wonder players don't want to sign for the club when they read online recent signings should never play for the club again.
I think one of the reasons Hanlan left was because all the stick he got online.
Lets get behind the players

Nope !. i judge the players on how they perform on the day. they are paid a lot of money to perform at a reasonable level and as a team they are not doing that at the moment. Its the captains role to get them going when they are on the pitch Do we blame the manager or the players after todays game ?

It's all Coutts fault!
Played and got sent off v Mansfield
Back in the team to captain us to a 4-1 defeat last week
And today we were 1-0 up, had a man advantage and dominant. Coutts comes on and we concede soon afterwards and are complete cack for the remainder of the game!

I’ve been really disappointed in coutts from what I’ve seen. Remember being jealous of fleetwood signing him and was really happy when we got him early doors. Hope to be proved wrong but he doesn’t look captain material.

None!
All of the players who played today are too early in their gas journey to be written off or have proven themselves worthy over time

People taken against their will and then put through a traumatic experience will often begin to like and agree with their captors.

I think it's fair to attribute quite a lot of blame to Joey if he gets the players in, and chooses the team, tactics and substitutions. This is now his show, not anyone else's. So I am disappointed with the puppets, but I blame the puppet master.

But at some point we have to stick with a manager and see if he can make it work, just sacking one every 6 months doesn't seem to have worked so far. Not sure I see the point in attacking individual players, what's that really going to achieve, particularly when Hughes didn't cost us the game yesterday, it was a collective team performance.

What struck me most about yesterday was the fact we had no idea how to break down their defence. Its a fallacy that its easier to score against 10 men. Having a player sent off just means they substiture a striker for another defender and shore up the defence especially if their not losing.
When Nicholson went off we lost any penatration, he at least tried to take on their defenders which he did with his goal. No other player tried doing that, they just played the ball sideways x10 everytime.
I dont blame the players so much as the Manager. Barton seems to think we can play like England who pass the ball across the front of the defence until they see an opening or players making runs into the box. His ability to change things to improve our tactics is dire.

Agreed, Barton’s use of subs is woeful.
